I tried to add one night, on Nov. 10, and they are all booked. :sad2: The CM said to keep trying because things change all the time, but wow...

We were staying 11/3-10 in LM room. I am still holding out hope that FD is released (or I get PIN), but our check in date is not on the current PIN offer, so we decided to change our arrival to 11/1 (still staying until 11/10, since go right from there to a cruise!) in anticipation of FD. There were no LM rooms available when I was playing around online, so was fully prepared to have to upgrade to a suite if we wanted to extend our stay- and am fine with doing so, and plan to, if/when FD comes out. I was shocked when the CM said that LM room was available for 11/1 check in :cool1:! However, she said that she was surprised as well, and that I was "really lucky" to have a LM room, that she hasn't been able to book anyone in one for quite some time, that they are always full when she checks. (I asked her if she could see if my "luck" also included a FD PIN... but I guess I just couldn't have that much good fortune in one day! ;))

Hello all. I'm new to this thread but I was just able to book AoA with my free dinning pin for Nov. 15-18. I am soooooo excited. We've stayed at Pop a few times and was about to book it and I went to check AoA just for giggles and there was a LM room available. I thought that it didn't open until December so it wasn't even considered and option. This will be out pre cruise stay. I love Pop but I am super excited that we will be going to AoA. It just gives me a reason to do some research:cool1:. I can't wait to see actual pics of the rooms.

Congrats! Little Mermaid rooms open on September 15.

I just checked my dates a few days ago November 28-December 6 for my Dsil and Dniece but there were no LM rooms open! I am so glad I booked when I did :woohoo:

I hope it works out for everyone who is trying to book a LM room, I'll send everyone some :wizard:

WELCOME NoodlesMom! I'm staying in the LM, too, but not until 11/24. We consider ourselves to be so lucky, also! We were going to stay at Pop, knowing that we were just going to miss AoA. Boy when I saw that it was opening early in Sept. I felt like we got an early Christmas gift. We've never stayed in a Value before, but I feel like we're going to be in a deluxe! So excited!!!! :yay: Have a great trip. :thumbsup2

Going to the lion king suites in august!

Im so excited i cant wait!!!:yay:

is it just me or is anyone else worried that they might run out of little mermaid rooms? it seems that so many people are booking them and availibility is scarce and selling out what would happen if they sell out?

we are staying at aoa-lm nov 4-11. so glad we booked when we did but now im hearing about fd pins that i had no clue about and am questioning myself.

If it's sold out, people would have to choose a different room type.

And if it comes to that point, don't be surprised if the LM rooms start costing more. Supply and demand. :thumbsup2

I wondered all along if they made a tactical error devoting so much of that resort to suites. I know a lot of this could just be people wanting the cheapest way to check out the new resort. But it will definitely be interesting to see how it goes over time.

I do know I have my reservation in the LM section all wrapped up.

If that happens, then I'm going to be so glad I booked a LM room for 2013 already. :sad2: My mom didn't want to book 'til around October for my January trip, but I couldn't take the risk. Now hearing about rooms selling out makes me glad I did that. My mom will have to realize that you have to book early to make sure you get what you want. Especially if it's for a popular room. If they do raise the prices at some point in time before my trip, then hopefully I will get to keep the rate that I have.

And hello from Arlington Heights!

1. It will be packed.
2.POP will fill up quickly as well, with the overflow of people who wanted a LM room, couldn't get one for their dates, and stayed nearby so they could check it out.
3. If an error is made after you reserved and paid and the LM section is overbooked, you will be magically upgraded.
4. If you have not yet been able to book for the dates you want, book your
2nd choice now and call at 35-45 days out (every day) in case of cancellations.

I am really glad we are already booked for the first week of LM opening, :cheer2: however I am fully aware that the place will be PACKED. I have never stayed at a 100% occupancy resort before, (except during hurricane ike, but that was locals looking for refuge.) Those of us there will have to demonstrate the utmost in patience and courtesy. The food court will be packed (FD), especially in the morning, and the pools will be crowded. Expect tons of visitors from other resorts stopping by to check it out and get photo ops.

I hope it won't be super busy in January, but I am preparing for the worst. I don't eat at the food courts so I'm not worried about that. It's the buses I'm more worried about. I'll make sure I get to the buses 2 hours before opening. :rotfl:
