Just wondering if anyone have an idea of the rough estimate of the room size in square feet will be? Thinking about maybe proposing staying here for Marathon week (I figure even if they don't have buses for the races (which they probably will) I can always walk over to Pop and catch the bus) to maybe save some money to spend elsewhere (like maybe an extra day or two in the parks by coming in early) by staying here instead of POFQ (which I adore but I like the look of this place). But first I want to get all of the facts lined up before proposing the idea to my parents.

They should be the same size as other values @ 260 sq. ft.

The person I spoke with said the rooms are 277 sq foot . However there is a bit of a hump in the front corner when you walk in to the left it seems where the ac is, and the dresser is larger than the other values. Making it seem to me as if you have less usable space.

One person I spoke with said they didnt know if there would be a fridge , but the other said yes they would be adding them. The dressers were not designed to have a cubby for one ( in the mock up room design) so maybe they either redesigned the dressers I guess, or will place one to the right of the dresser . But in the connecting rooms where there is a door there, I dont know what they would do. :confused3

Just booked at AoA for Dec. 29-Jan. 3 did not realize I could get an AP discount. I think I will call Disney to check on this.

We are very excited we were at Disney for christmas last year and we missed new year. So this year we are skipping christmas and going for new year.

We ant to get a good idea of how things are around the holidays so we can take our kids when we have them. We will be in WDW for 2 1/2 weeks in june/july for our disney wedding/honeymoon so this will be a great way to celebrate being back.

AP rates are not available past June 14. AAA discounts are available for some dates, and I got that (10% off) for Dec. 1-8.

Sorry if this was previously answered.

Do the Little Mermaid rooms of AoA have minifridges and WiFi and are they included or extra fees?

Thank you!

Both these items are being added with no additional charge at the other value resorts, so we can expect them in the LM section of AoA too.

I just called to confirm that there is no FD with AoA. (I am sure this has already been covered.) So we will skip AoA this time. Looks beautiful though!

Extending our stay following DHs work conference, so we booked 2 nights at AoA in a Cars Family Suite June 25-27! Will post pics!

Someone else may have brought this up already(but I might be the only one to find something to complain about:lmao:) but I wonder why the only regular rooms are in the Little Mermaid section.:confused3 It seems like they would want to have rooms that appeal to both boys and girls so Nemo or the Lion King would have been way more appropriate for the regular section. I would assume that the imagineers would have thought of this but maybe not. I really want to try it out but we do not need/want a suite and my little boy stated most emphatically that he does not want to stay in the LM section.

I have 3 DDs and 1 DS luckily he thinks the Little mermaid is beautiful & likes Sebastian & flounder so LM will be just fine... (he sings kiss the girl in the shower sometimes , he's 6 next month!)

I agree. I find that an odd choice as well as most little boys would not want to stay in the LM section over LK or Nemo. Just add it to my list of "Disney wishes for boys" like a Toy Story or Pirates character meal. Haha I've been wishing for these for years :rotfl:

I can't seem to find an answer to this. Is there an actual door between the bedroom and the rest of the suite? I see the door frame but nowhere am I seeing anything resembling a door which closes on the bedroom.

CBR has pirate rooms and value has a whole resort dedicated to sports. Not that both can't like either, but with the new LM and Royal Rooms at POR, it seems pretty even.

If you go to the Disney AoA site and click on rooms, they show the 360 views. If you look closely at the bedroom in the Cars room, then start panning towards the living room, you can see the metal hinges in the door opening to the bedroom. Hopefully this means there is a door! :)

Do you think the Pullout bed will be Comfortable? not some crappy cot, like something like the sleeper chairs?

Just changed our reservations from December 26 - January 5 to the LM section of AOA. :cool1: We will be across the lagoon at POP in May when AOA opens. So excited!!!

After viewing the Finding Nemo room photos, I am even more excited about this great hotel addition to the Walt Disney World Resort.

I also hope the gift shop is packed full of Pixar merchandise!

I hope so too! I can't wait for more pictures/info to come out.. I'm mildly obsessed!
