Disney's Animal Kingdom Again Earns Its Association of Zoos and Aquariums Accreditation

I noticed this article on the sidebar. I thought Disney had been trying to tell us that Animal Kingdom is "not a zoo" for years! 😉
 
I know you are winking with your comment, but they need the accreditation in order to participate in conservation programs. The Pittsburgh Zoo let its accreditation go away 5 years ago because they do not comply with elephant handling rules. This has made them ineligible to participate in some other animal conservation/rescue efforts.
 
Maybe, I should have written "nahtazu" instead. The old commercials popped into my head when I saw that headline.
