The gift shop had a good selection of drinks both regular and non alcoholic.

Until the food court is finished they sell pastries, fruit and cereal at the pool bar during breakfast time.

The time it took for Mobil orders depends on how busy they are. Our biggest complaint was that if you wanted to order with a cashier there never seemed to be one.

Milk and water can be bought in the gift shop. Not sure what else you are looking for in grab n go

I saw that the resort does an arcade tournament in the afternoons for an hour. How does this work? Do you just show up? Do you sign up ahead of time? How much do the games cost?

I'm staying at ASMo for the first time in November. I've stayed at Pop numerous times so I know what I'm getting into with a value resort. How spread out is the resort? Are there standard rooms in every section?

Standard rooms are in the Love Bug and Mighty Ducks sections. Mighty Ducks is a great location for a standard room because it's close to the All Star Music main building, pool, and buses, so you can take advantage of both resorts.

Definitely try for Mighty Ducks, especially with the proximity to All Star Music.

Love Bug is as far away from the food court and buses as you can get. I requested a move as we had a wheelchair and really didn’t fancy the walk after a day in the parks (not when we were there for 2 weeks!).

If he’s on duty, then Aladdin from Dearborn MI is the man to see for any issues you may have - he is fantastic!

I’d call to request Mighty Ducks on your reservation.
Rooms were refurbished in 2019.
Food court is open until 11pm.
The food court is good. If you do get Mighty Ducks, you’ll be closer to the Music foodcourt so you might want to eat there.

One thing I like is that you get get a $20 jumbo pizza and just hangout.

Has anyone succeeded in requesting an actual mini fridge in their room for medical reasons (medication etc)? I see they provide beverage coolers but not cold enough for medications that need to be refrigerated.

They do have actual fridges that are strictly for medical need. You should have a note out on your reservation stating that you need one. There is also a special services dept you can call to arrange for one.

If your meds are not that temperature sensitive you can get a small fridge thermometer and put ice inside the beverage cooler to bring the temp down. We have done it more than once for food. You just have to check the temp at least once a day and replenish the ice. I used ziploc bags and a plastic bowl.
