Hey All,
So we are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (12 and 16 years old), and we got a room at all star movies resort. As I see a room includes 2 beds, but I was wondering do they have Roll-Away Cots? Do any of you have an idea if we could get 2 extra cots in the room? If so how much do they cost?

How do all of you manage with 4 adults in one room there? I mean 12 and 16 years old is pretty much an adult size, so we can say 4 adults for now. If its not possible to fit 2 cots in the room, what are other options?

Why would you need two cots? I would assume you and your spouse would sleep together, one kid in one bed, one on a cot.

I wouldn't want a cot in a room at ASM as I don't find the rooms to be particularly spacious. I certainly cannot imagine having two in there.

How big are the beds? We probably could do with one.

No cots or rollaways are available. You could bring/ship an air mattress.

We don't do values any longer with more than 3 of us due to the double beds. We either go with my wife, our son, myself or sometimes we also bring one of our nephews with too. When we are 4, my wife and I share a bed and the 2 boys either share a bed or we ship down an air mattress.

Some people would do girls in one bed boys in the other. That would be totally dependent on family dynamics however. You might be better off with a suite at all star music or art of animation. At the moderates they have a Murphy bed where maybe the 12 year old could sleep.

Are you sure of that? I thought I read somewhere that you can request one at least. I was thinking to have the girls on one bed, and then use only one cot. Thats stupid really, they ought to have at least one roll-away cot available.

I'm pretty sure I read that roll aways aren't permitted in value resorts because the room size makes it a fire hazard.

I'm sure of it too. And it is not stupid. The room is too small. A Moderate sounds like it would be better for your family. They have 2 Queen beffpds which would be more comfortable. But as others have said you could bring/ ship an air mattress. We don't stay value with more than 2 because of the size of the beds & the room.

Well the problem is we are on a budget here, and we are going next week, so we really can't change anything. I am thinking to ask for maybe just the mattress part of a cot. An air-mattress would be another option as well.

And 260 sq ft is not too small. I have been in smaller rooms in Europe before, and managed to fit a roll away cot there. Even maybe put it between the two beds.

Unless you bring/ship the matress part of a cot, an air mattress is your option. The resort doesn't have any cots or mattresses to let you use.

a cot doesn't have a mattress - it is just a canvas set up - i agree with others - shipping an air mattress to the resort sounds like it would be your best option at this point.

I agree with others, bringing an air mattress is your best (and likely only) option.

You won't be able to ask for the mattress part of a cot because there are no cots and therefore, no mattresses.

Getting a cot into a Disney value room would be awfully tight, especially given the configuration of the rooms.

Well, since your trip is next week and not changeable .... you can (1) sleep together in the beds or
(2) head to Walmart or Target etc and grab a twin blow up mattress and pump to take in your bag. You could try shipping but if my trip were next week I wouldn't risk it unless you are willing to pay express shipping.

- AllStars sleep 4 adults in 2 full beds (aka doubles).
- Value resorts no longer (been many years) offer roll-aways, only pack-n-plays for babies.
- They have nothing they can provide to you.
- You can ask for some sheets for the blow up mattress.
- You can ask if they have a blanket, beds are made with duvets.
- You'll have enough pillows.
- It is their rules and so really nothing to discuss.
- You need to work around it since you can't change your plans.
- Sleep together or bring your own blow up.
