First some good news:
Disney is issuing a $10 coupon for Tuesday's release of 2009's "A Christmas Carol".
Now, the not-so-good news (depending on how you look at these things):
This coupon is valid for the 4-disc (Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital Copy) set, only. According to next week's Target ad (I am able to get mine a day early because I buy the Sunday paper on Saturday), that set will have a "Week 1" price of $29.99, while the Blu-ray/DVD combo will be priced at $24.99 and the DVD-only release will be $16.99 (I imagine most other stores will offer similar pricing).
So, if you were contemplating a Blu-ray purchase of this movie, you'll still do better with the 4-disc set (with coupon) -- you'll just have to pay a few $ more than with past Disney Blu-ray releases (and as Disney has done with Blu-ray for new adopters, you can hang-onto the Blu-ray 3D disc until you acquire the necessary equipment to play it).
