We are going for a four night vacation to WDW the week of June 20. When we arrive we will have pretty much the whole day. I had planned on MGM and have PS at 50's PTC...but I know that MGM is a small park and it will not take the whole day to experience it. I was thinking about going to DisneyQuest in the morning...but I don't know if it's worth it. If I do go, we would have to spend a couple of hours there...go to MGM and maybe go back later on. I don't want to waste thirty dollars on this if it isn't worth it.

Any feedback is appreciated!! Thanks!

I enjoyed it a lot- depends on how much you like 'games' - that being interactive 3D, Cyberspace mountain, or the classics.

We went with our park hoppers, so the cost was transparent. While it was a lot of fun, I do not think I would go if I had to pay a $30 admission unless I was going to spend 4 hours or more in there.

Don't plan on going to DQ in the morning since it doesn't open until about 11:00 or 11:30 AM.

I would definitely go to MGM in the morning. Rides like TOT and RnRC get very crowded and the FPs can run out later in the day. I find MGM is a full day park with all the shows. We don't do all the shows, but just doing 2-3 makes scheduling a little tricky because of their timing. Add in FAntasmic at park closing and you can easily spend all day there.

On the other hand, AK is not a full day park. Even if you stay from park opening to park closing you'll have time in the evening to do something like DQ. AK usually closes around 5:00 pm (although many people do everything they want before then).

I feel that the day we go to AK is a great day to do something in the evening. On our last trip DW and I went to Cirque that night.

I always consider MGM a full day, as opposed to AK that can be done in half. I suppose it depends on what you want to see and do, but I can fill an entire day there...

That being said. DQ is open 11 to 11, I think, so a morning woulnd't work. I have not been, however, my DH and DB spent a good 6 hours there last Sat while we were in Orlando and LOVED IT. Keep in mind that they are BOYS and LOVE the silmulator rides.

I think unless you really have a video game enthusiast in your group, you could skip it and still find plenty of other free or cheaper things to do. You could play the minature golf park, visit DTD and the West Side, hang out at the Boardwalk, sit by the pool, or resort hop. OR, even hit some of the great outlet mall shopping in the area.

Good luck in your decision!
