Yea, it is going to be an interesting transition from a 1920's Buena Vista street, & go thru a tunnel into Pandora. lol
Also having a south of the border entrance between Pixar Pier & Boardwalk Pizza.

I still really do not see how Avatar is the right choice here lol especially now that they said the location. It just feels forced lol Will be interesting to see how they are able to blend things. I am sad to see a no height limit ride leave DCA

If they keep Boardwalk Pizza, I think they will re-imagine it into something that aligns with the Coco theme.

Which makes me wonder if they will move Cocina to this location and put something different in Cocina's current location.

They could flip it and move pizza to San Fransokyo. It could have a North Beach type of vibe.

More knowledgeable people with the online Disneyland community (e.g. people fed some inside information) are saying that only the Backlot portion (extending into the bus loop) of Hollywoodland will become The Avatar Experience. I’ll bet they’ll frame it as if you’re in Hollywood and entering the movie (poor Disney-MGM Studios - remember when life use to be that way).

Allegedly the Hyperion Theater and surrounding area will eventually be absorbed (demolished?) into Avengers Campus. They have plenty of backstage space to work with with the (rideshare and personal) drop off area closing. Will be interesting if that space is used for Avatar or Avengers.

Personally, I was hoping they’d set aside some space for The Simpsons. Maybe we’ll get a gift shop in DTD.

AK did Avatar right. This… doesn’t sit well. The tone change is too jarring.
