This has to be the strangest thread I've ever read on any forum. I made 5.00 an hour my first job working fast-food. I never considered it a career choice. I don't eat out at fast food anymore because the cost is insane. Maybe wages aren't the problem...I think you should all dig a little deeper.
As far as getting paid for every hour you work...there's' this thing called salaried vs hourly positions. Those positions come with advantages and disadvantages. I've done both salaried and hourly. Salaried roles are usually higher level positions with more benefits, but there is a lot to be said for clocking out and being done.
