Disneyland with a toddler next weekend!

Hey everyone! We added on some disneyland time to our San Diego trip and will be there next Sat-Mon. We fly in sat AM and will drive out to San Diego sometime monday PM.

We haven't planned anything yet! Typically when I've done WDW I've made huge touring plans. Do I need to? What's the best resource for quick tips?

I think it's helpful to decide if you are aiming for stroller or hotel naps and a rough time. If you want a sit down meal make a reservation taking nap time into consideration. Get there early and do priority rides with no fp first. Decide if you are going to use stroller switch. It does add time but then both adults get to do height restriction rides. Have fun!

Considering the popularity of Food & Wine the last 2 weekends, you need at least a loose plan.

How old is your toddler? I frequently take my kids and have been taking them all since they were very young. It's not as intense as WDW in terms of planning. I was just there yesterday and even with the Food & Wine festival, it wasn't crowded at all, at least in DCA where the event is. My recommendation for planning is to take a look at the rides. Pick maybe 10 that you must do and try to do those. If you get other stuff in, great, but that way you won't miss out on what's most important. If you want to do RSR, either get a fastpass within the first hour or two of opening or go straight there at rope drop (assuming kid is 42 inches. If not, you can do rider swap or single rider line, but I do recommend checking it out since it's not available at WDW). For food, I recommend sticking with CS restaurants. This close to your dates, it would be challenging to get reservations anyway and there are quite a few good CS options. Anyway, above all, enjoy!
