Talking Hands
It didn't bother me that they were pointing out my dog. I just found it intresting. I mean, you can see a dog anyday, but you don't see pandas, kolas, etc every day. I guess I'm used to having dogs around all the time, so when I see one when I'm out it doesn't seem like a big deal to me.
I've dealt with my fair share of stupid/ingorant people. We were shopping at Target with Hans a year ago and they made me leave. I went back the next day with a copy of the ADA and spoke with the manager. He apoligized and said that he would talk to the staff about service dogs. I also had to inform the local movie theater that I don't have to show them any paper work stating that Hans is a service dog. It's frustrating dealing with people who don't or won't understand that I have just as much of a right to be someplace as they do. It's nice to know that I'm not alone in my struggle.
