I went to Downtown Disney in October of 2009 and as always, I checked on my iPod for Wi-Fi, and this showed up:

I can't remember for the life of me if the connection worked or not and was wondering if anybody could tell me? I'm leaning towards no because there would be too many people on it, but then why was it there and not password protected? I'm just wondering because I have an app called "Walkee" that seems very useful for when I go, but majority of the features need an internet connection.

when we were there this past January, I got the same thing, except it definitely was password protected, and therefor did not work.

I had read somewhereonline about a password to use, but it didn't work. I'm really suprised they don't have it available.

its WPA2 encryption. Even if you do get through, you need to have access to Disney's system to login.

I think they should offer Wi-Fi with a certain ticket or something. I'd be willing to pay a couple bucks to use it while I was there!
