Disneyland vip tour - evening parade / event recommendation

Hi Everyone,

We are going to Disneyland to celebrate my wife's birthday and will be doing the vip tour. We have never been to disneyland before and was reading the forum and disney website about preferred seating for parade / events. Which one would you recommend to secure as part of reservation with the special services concierge. Also I was reading about some restaurants offering dining package / dinner w nice view for parades. If there's any restaurant reservation that we can make for one of these event's and use preferred seating for other event; open to that as well.

When I did my VIP tour I got preferred viewing for both fireworks and fantasmic. I didn't have to choose one or the other. So I say try doing both. No need for a dining package!
