Disneyland trip: using Disney Gift Cards: questions

Hello all:

I plan to use multiple DGC gift cards to purchase our tickets: what is the best way to proceed?
I was told by CS rep that I must combine the DGC into one GC and then I can purchase online or on phone, is this true? just trying to get the best way to purchase the tickets with least hassle.

also plan to accumulate DGC using supermarket CB offers and possibly buy at target and use CB sites. any other strategies you want to share to get DGC at a discount would be greatly appreciated.

You can go to the Disney gift card website:https://www.disneygiftcard.com/Manage/Transfer

And combine your gift cards onto one gift card. Then use that one to buy tickets. Also eliminates being in the park with multiple gift cards instead of having just one with everything on it

Yeah. I did what CAS239 recommended for my upcoming trip. The combining feature is great. The one difference, though, is that I consolidated the cards from quite a few (at least 15-16) onto four instead of one, divided evenly amongst the four parks (with a little extra on Epcot for F&G). That's one way of helping me curtail spending and staying on budget.

I also recommend combining your gift cards into as few as possible. Just note that there is a dollar limit (I think it's $1,000) that be put onto a single gift card, so if you need to make a big purchase (e.g., tickets), you may need more than one gift card.
