woken up by Mickey again today :goodvibes and I was out of the hotel by 9:30...no worries about ee today since they didnt have it :rotfl: however, as soon as I hit the outside I was blasted with a gust of coooooooooold wind...first stop was to guest services outside the park to pick up my holiday tour tickets I was doing later in the afternoon...did more shopping on Main St...went to Market House to eavesdrop on a phone conversation involving a policeman wanting to put a unauthorized vehicle in the storekeepers barn :rolleyes1 ...then it was off to space again and the jungle cruise as it has been awhile since I rode it...went to DCA and did single rider on Soarin and TOTx2...decided to go back to sorcerors workshop and try again and this time I was Jane...much better...old hag pshaw...while I was in there I thought I'd check out animators academy and the lesson of the hour was to learn how to draw Winnie...now I cant draw for crap...but it looked like fun...I was really impressed with myself after we did it...Ive never been able to draw anything more than hearts and stars and stuff like that...

went back to DL and my mickey radar went off like crazy...low and behold he was by the firehouse in his christmas getup so I had to go take a pic with him..

decided to go back to hotel and get another coat to put on and I was very hungry so I went to GC via DD and went to whitewater snacks for a burger and fries..

every single time I went through DD I got this wonderful whiff of kettle corn so I decided I had to have a bag so on my way back from getting my coat I bought a $3 small bag...now this bag is not small by any comparison...thank goodness I didnt get greedy and buy a large bag...there was so much that I started asking everyone in lines if they wanted some :rotfl: ... I still had a little bit of time to kill before doing the tour so I rode the train around the park...tried to give away my kettle corn...it was really good but sheesh it was way too much...then to mad hatter to buy ears for my god daughter...saw the new machines they use...as I was making my way across the street to check in for the tour, the wind was blowing so hard that the trash can doors were flying open and one of the HUGE ball ornaments flew off the tree and landed on the cement with a crack sound...it didnt break it but it did crack...the tour was fabulous...our tour guide was Wendy and she spends her time between being tourguides and working at city hall...we had about 15 people and only 2 children and both were really little...we learned about different cultural traditions for the holidays were from all over the world...Wendy showed us a masuza(sp?) which is a metal piece on front doors of jewish families, what the holiday of lights entailed and where it got started...same with kwanzaa but dont ask me none of it because I forgot already  stopped at the candy shop and we were given 2 pieces of fudge...one was chocolate and mint and the other was pumpkin...I totally intended on going back and getting some more of that pumpkin fudge but I forgot :confused3...we then rode HMH, and IASWH and I saw something I never even knew about....right when we were boarding the boat it was 5pm and of course we know the little show that comes on every few minutes on the outside of the ride..but what I didnt know is that during the holidays they also do this fabulous show where there are lights and images on the attraction and they play christmas music from the nutcracker ballet and others...it was amazing to be in the boat outside when that came on..I was in awe...Wendy sat with me because I was there by my lonesome and we got the part in the ride where you could see santas list and she was all proud saying her name was on there and it was #2 on the list...one of the people on our tour said "well thats great but is it the naughty or the nice list" :rotfl2: that had us all laughing...went to toontown from there and then on to get our hot chocolate and a really nice gingerbread man cookie....back to IASWH where we got fabulous seats with good character interaction for the parade...they also gave us a christmas collector pin(its still in my suitcase because I havent fully unpacked yet) :confused3...after the tour we went our separate ways and I went to FL to the princess shop and did a little shopping and saw that I had a text message from my god daughters mother telling me my god daughter Lexie had lost her first tooth :lovestruc so I had to call her and tell her santa told me she lost a tooth and boy was she surprised to know that santa knew that...she said "santa really does know everything" :lovestruc :lovestruc ah the innocence....finished the night by riding POTC back to back and had my own boat...didnt even have to get out...due to the cold and wind, it was very obvious to me they wouldnt do fireworks...amazingly enough people were waiting...nu uh not me I was outta there...chilled to the bone...stopped in DD to get a jalapeno pretzel from wetzel pretzels...I love that place...my lips were so chapped from that wind and Im just barely getting them back to normal...stopped in the store in the lobby of the hotel to buy some chapstick...I was so tired that I was in bed by 9...well after watching the nightly princess: bedtime story that is....It was a lovely day with no incidents...thank goodness...

Your cheeseburger pic just made me hungry!!! :faint: That's a very good drawing of Pooh btw. :artist:Very cute! :thumbsup2

WHA...?! You mean there's no Santa Claus?!!

Isn't that light show they do on the IASW cool? :thumbsup2 We saw it last year when we were there in December.

Free kettle corn? - Man, I'm going with you next time! popcorn::

I can't imagine having my own boat on Pirates. On one hand it would be kinda cool, but on the other hand, kinda spooky too. Or course "kinda spooky" can be fun. :teeth:

I'm lovin' your report!!!

YAY, a day without an unfortunate incident! :cheer2:

I can't wait to show DS2 your drawing of Pooh, he'd be so pleased! (I put a bug in Santa's ear, and somebody is going to Build-A-Pooh after Christmas...) Ever since he met him in person, DS2 is even more of a Pooh fan than ever, it's very sweet. :)

When I went to the sorcerer's workshop, it said I was like Mulan, all about family and loyalty. (But does the tag fairy pay attention to that? Nooooo!)

So glad you had a great day!

LOL! You're not one of us tagless rebel rousers! :teeth: I got Lady from Lady in the Tramp because I won't let anyone put me in the doghouse! LOL! I was so upset with my Villain character- I got the Stepmom from Cinderella! Boo! :sad2:

My boyfriend got Captain Hook for Villain and Timon for a good character. He's all: Timon!?? I don't want to be Timon!" and I said: "Would you rather be Pumba??" and he was like: "Hmmm.. good point!" :rotfl2:
