Disneyland Treats and Snacks To Take Home -Update Post 39 I'm Home What Did I Buy

I always buy several pieces of churro toffee. They stay fresh for a good week after I get home. Bags of the chocolate toffee, cookies, and Rice Krispie treats.

I like the Goofy candies as well. Sour Balls, Character Gummies and Sour Worms are all good.

I also like the small tubs of Mickey Head Crackers. They are less cheesy then goldfish but super light and crispy.

I have also brought home the Mickey Rice Krispie treats. Personally I don’t like them but I always get rave reviews to those that get them.

I’m gonna be like the 10th person to recommend the Churro Toffee. Although, recently they’ve subbed it out with Pumpkin Spice Toffee, which is similar and also good, so that may be the current option.

Actually, I’m not sure what the current toffee is because when I went to Marcelines’s last Saturday, they didn’t have any toffee at all. :( And I was too lazy to go back to the park to check because I was on my way out.

Anyway, go for the toffee. The only reason it may not travel well is because it’s so easy to eat it all before you get home!

I second the Mickey Gingerbread suggestion. You can get them at a lot of different places if you are early enough. (Jolly Holiday, Starbucks, Grand Cal hotel) One morning I tried to order them on the mobile order at Jolly Holiday and I didn't see it on the menu, so I stood in line. As it happened they did have them (it was before lunch).

The Mickey Gingerbread at Grand Cal look to be the same (to me), except they have a fancy red bow on them ($9.00 plus tax). At the Jolly Holiday ($5.29 plus tax) with a limit of 5 per order.

I brought some home to my DH who said they were the best Gingerbread he has ever had.

I’m at DL now and they do have churro toffee again. I know lots of people are recommending the gingerbread because it really is great but, that’s a seasonal thing. I don’t know what your dates are but it will go away when the holiday celebrations end. I believe it goes through 1/9/22.

I thought they had them year round now? Of course, they made that change pre-covid so who knows.

Oh, I forgot about the FUDGE. We always got the prepackaged chocolate fudge. It travels well and lasts. (it used to come with a plastic knife right in the package, but no more knife..)

We have not found fudge on our most recent trips, and it's my favorite! Where are you finding it? The chocolate-peanut butter is the best!!!

Peanut Brittle.

The large cookies also travel well if you bring some ziploc bags with you. They are hardy cookies!

The fudge also travels well.

only know about pre-covid... haven't been back yet.... boohoo !:( Hope they start making it again soon!

Have you had one of the carmel apples? It's tradition that we grab one our last day and we take it home. It travels well if you pack it well. Might get a little crumly.. but I love cutting it and enjoying it once home.

I'm home now, so I thought I would update and let you all know what I eventually bought.

Thank you for all the suggestions, I had this thread open when I was in Marceline's and took a look at everything that was mentioned.

So what did I buy? :Pinkbounc

snacks 1.jpg

  • Goofys Candy - Character Gummies, as I don't like sour candy
  • Strawberry Cake Pop
  • Apple Pie Apple
  • Strawberry Chocolate Rice Krispie

I spent $30.96 which was slightly over my budget of $25.

The next thing was how do I get all of this back to Ireland.

Well the Goofys Candy is fine, just pack it as it is.
The strawberry cake pop I removed from the stick and put it into a leftover container from the sliced mango snack.
The apple pie apple I cut into pieces and put it into a bag.
The rice krispie treat I put into the left over container from the Gumbo from Ralph Brennen's Express.
I packed everything except the cut up apple in my checked bag. The bag of cut apple I had in my carry on bag.

Everything travelled almost perfect.
The caramel from the cut up apple softened and turned into goop but I poured the whole thing into a bowl and ate it with a spoon and it was delicious.
Everything else travelled perfect

The only thing I would do different is to put the cut up apple into a container, not a bag.
