Disneyland Tour?

I am interested in taking the Welcome to Disneyland tour on my trip in Dec. For those of you who have been on this tour is it worth my time and/or money?

Also the info on the tour says that it includes VIP veiwing for a stage show or parade. What stage shows are an option for this? Is fantasmic one of them? I am thinking probably not, but it would be really cool if it was .
