I think people who are criticizing those who are upset aren't justified in doing so because people are allowed to feel how they feel

That goes both ways. If you're entitled to feel the way that you feel, then so am I.

Honestly, there are more important things going on in my life than whether or not Disney is nickel and diming upsells again.

Having a differing opinion isn't always criticizing, though some apparently feel that way. No one is being called names or anything, this is a discussion.

Um no. I'm asking if they will increase the ticket price in a few weeks.

Of course they don't reveal their plans in advance, but IIRC, prices have been increased virtually every year of late, and the last 3 years the increase has come in February. I'm guessing only senior leadership, revenue management and accounting know today when and how much it will be.

I honestly didn't think they would increase the prices last year because of closures for Star Wars World, Pandora, and other projects, but until the market shows no resistance to price increases, there is no reason for them not to increase.

I don't think there will be any problems at all - nothing like several hundred people at rope drop tapping on their smartphones being run over by several hundred people headed for Peter Pan's Flight.

I agree it's going to be a mess! One solution is to have a scanner at bag check where everyone can scan in their ticket/annual pass to "activate" them for the day and then they can linger, drink coffee and grab a fast pass while standing in the turnstiles BEFORE the Peter Pan 5k.

You know, PP is cute and all, but I'm not sprinting to that attraction ever.

Obviously I'm not a local but was thinking about a DLR trip for a change in the coming years. However this is absolutely useless to foreign travellers if there's no wifi. Oh well, guess I'm running with hoards like WDW days gone by. :p

But WILL they be increasing ticket prices?
Do you know this for sure? By how much?
I just started a thread asking about rumors of if/when prices will be increasing soon and so far I have no definite answers.
There are no definite answers. They notoriously keep ticket increases on extreme lockdown; even the best rumor sites are typically caught unawares. They have increased in February for at least a couple of years, so it would make sense to expect a February increase, but there's no way to know for sure. They could just as easily do it this weekend or in June.

Actually, on the Facebook AP page DL is
saying you'll be able to select a time if you use maxpass.

Interesting. Thanks for the info!

Although with it being one FP at a time, I have to imagine it will not be as popular to take them late in the day. From what I've heard you have to be in the park to use the system, so it's not like AP holders are going to book them from home for later that night.

Any word on whether getting a show FP will block your ability to get ride FPs? (WOC would block you out for the rest of the day if that was the case. If Fantasmic uses FP when it starts up again that could be a very tricky situation).

Dear Erin Glover,
Yet again, your post manages to create more confusion and chaos then what little tidbits you provide.
Please just stop.

Thanks!

Seriously. Stop posting articles with partial information. It's so annoying. And I can't imagine she loves having to spend all day "copy/pasting" the same two responses over and over again.

I did catch a reply by Disneyland on Facebook that indicated that MaxPass would be "included with select APs."

I take this to mean that the Signature and Sig Plus passes will automatically get MaxPass, as they already automatically get the Photopass downloads.

Will paper FPs be available at the 2 new added rides or will they be an extra perk to only those that spend the $10?

Do share!

"Hi Jason. Disney FASTPASS will continue to be available to Guests in the same manner as it is today (by obtaining a FASTPASS ticket at attraction kiosks) at no charge. As an added Guest service, we are making it possible for Guests who purchase Disney MaxPass, or select Annual Passes, to obtain a FASTPASS return time using the Disneyland App."
