Disneyland through the eyes of a 3 year old! Pre-trip report

Hello! :goodvibes It sounds like your planning/changing plans experience was pretty hectic! Too bad that your DH could not go - does that mean he was able to find employment? But the upside is that you got to do a 3 generations thing - very cool :) We took our girls to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure in Orlando when my younger DD was 3, it is such a magical age for kids at theme parks.

Good news about the Doubletree, I've stayed at them in other areas but never in Anaheim. Love those cookies! Too bad about ART, nothing like waiting past the scheduled times for busses :P The first evening sounded like lots of fun though :thumbsup2

I'm glad the rain slacked off on the second day. But yes, it is funny what our peeps down there think of as "rain" compaired to the great northwest :rotfl: I remember our January trip in '05 that even during the rain it was still 65+ degrees so we ended up wearing shorts and t-shirts under our ponchos.

A lot of those shows/rides can be a bit scary for such a wee one, but good choice having her not wearing the glasses during bugs life. Too bad about the fireworks and early closure, but hey - you got more rest out of it! I'm looking forward to reading more about your adventures!

Did anyone get back to you about how to upload pics? Disboards doesn't host them so you have to use a 3rd party site like snapfish or photobucket. Once you have them uploaded you can then link them into your report. PM me if you run into any trouble. If you make the mistake of looking at my last TR you'll see that I'm a bit of a photo fanatic

...looking for the next installment. In May I'll be there with my granddaughter (1) and grandson (3). It will be there 1st visit.

Hope you'll make it back to post the next installment! My youngest will be 3 1/2 for our trip (and his 3 1/2 year old cousin will also be with us), so I'm enjoying hearing the 3 year old perspective!
