Disney's website has all the special offers here...
https://disneyland.disney.go.com/offers-discounts/
Scroll through to see if there is one for your dates.
If not I recommend booking and if a special offer comes up, calling and have the rate adjusted.
I've done it many times.

What are you travel dates? Here's a link to my thread on current special
https://www.disboards.com/threads/room-promotions-are-out-for-jan-7th-to-apr-12th-2018.3643060/

There are limited rooms for these specials and they do book up fast.

Good luck

Hi Thank you for that, when i click on the special nothing happens?
my travel dates are 24th january to 30th january 2018

Geemo's post shows there are some for your dates, so just go to the regular reservations page and put in your days... if there are discounts applicable they will show up (ours were fall specials so there was little leaf on the rate!). You might find not all room types have special rates left, but it's worth looking.

Okay.... when I go to the website here's what I can find for your dates 01-24 to 01-30

When you look at the page with all three hotels listed, notice the price is an average of all the nights.
I included a snip of the details for PPH's individual nights.

I hope you were able to find a way to get to this information on the Disney website.
If you start at Disney's home page and get the pointer to open the tab for "places to stay"
On the right of the pop-up click on "View special offers" and scroll though the offers until you find one for your dates.

If you haven't booked a hotel yet, I recommend doing it soon. That weekend is the NAMM convention and the cost of rooms will skyrocket in the hotels around the convention center and on Katella and Harbor. It can impact the DLR hotels as other hotel rooms book up.

Whats the NAMM convention?

I already have HOJOS booked, would just love to stay onsite for a few nights at least....:thumbsup2

We're staying onsite for the first time ever in a couple weeks. It's expensive but I am finding some great inclusions with it. Hopefully the pools will still be open (and they seem large) but I am loving the fact that apparently characters are just walking through the lobby often (we'll be at DLH) and that you get EME at the parks. Plus they hold some dining reservations for those staying on property and I was able to book a Breakfast with Minnie this way when I thought they were all taken. I'm not sure but you also may get a discount at some places--I still need to see if I can find that info again or if I just made it up in my head!

Do discount rates come out for Disneyland resort?
The Disneyland resorts don't have the kind of steep, regular discounts that WDW resorts have. However, if you are willing to dress up a little and participate in Dapper Day, you can get a good deal on a Disneyland resort if you book your trip via the Dapper Day convention.

We're going around the same time at the end of January. I was able to get a pretty good discount with the current Disneyland resort promotion that Geemo links to, but booked on Orbitz to get an extra 16% off. Orbitz often has the same discounts as the Disneyland site, but using their promo code you can get an extra discount on top of that! It looks like right now the discount code is SEETHEWORLD for 15% off.

SO YOU GET THE 25% OFF THEN AN EXTRA 15%? or am i reading that wrong....

Do i book through Orbitz and put the code SEETHEWORLD? so eventually get 40% off in total?
Not really. You get the 15% off of whatever price shows on Orbitz. So watch the numbers on Orbitz and see when the discount shows up. Not sure what the current offer is, but previously the 25% was only off of GCH or maybe premium rooms and only Sunday through Thursday.

And even if your room was 25% off, the total discount after the 15% Orbitz discount is 36.25%.

NAMM=National Assoc. of Music Manufaturers

Jan 25-28.

Th Winter NAMM show is the music instrument world's equivalent of CES, all the music manufacturers (large and small) from around the world show off their new and upcoming products to dealers and buyers. It's the largest convention the Anaheim Convention Center hosts every year (~100,000 attendees) and creates a noticeable bump in park attendance, mostly at night, and the potential that some places in the parks and DTD may be rented out (they've rented out the Hyperion Theater in the past). It'll sell out most of the rooms around Disneyland and you'll see a lot more musicians in their stereotypical black tees and torn jeans at the hotels, on Harbor and Katella and in the parks.

We're actually going to be in LA that weekend (DS has a 4.5 day weekend) and were planning on two days in the parks, but NAMM may redirect us elsewhere for our second day. But, like I said, the NAMM crowds tend to arrive closer to dinner time.

I am wondering the same thing... if that's the case I've been doing it all wrong.
You're not alone. That was us a couple years ago, we couldn't believe it but it's true. The downside for people is you have to pay upfront. Also, more & more frequently Orbitz seems to be capping the promos (i.e. 15% off but only up $100 discount). Best advice is to subscribe to the emails so you can get a feel for the promos. Also, you get 5% back instantly after booking in "Orbitz $" which you can turn around and use on another hotel booking. We once did Disney discount + Orbitz discount for GCH and then took the 5% back and used it for a discount on the off-site hotel we had booked for the night before we started our GCH stay! (Obviously if you were to cancel the stay in which you earned the Orbitz$ they will charge your credit card the difference.)
