Hi happy planners hope you are all well.
Im in the midst of final planning, and for the life of me no matter which link I try whether that be on the grayline website or via disneyland website itself the Disneyland Express Brochure is nowhere to be found:mad: I really need to print one out and keep getting a stupid http 404 page not found error

Is anyone else having the same problem? Does anyone else have a copy I can see?

Thanks in Advance :)

yep - you're right. I can get the website but when I click to download their brochure - it's goooooone! Sorry I don't have one.

They are putting their prices up and that brochure has their old prices so I'm thinking that's why they have taken it down.

I am in Anaheim now and I have the brochure if you wanted to know anything off it. I would also get on and buy your return ticket as they haven't updated the price buying online yet either. They tried to charge me $37 return the other day, saying the price had just gone up and I said that wasn't the price online. Now the brochure has gone so wonder if that's why.

Hi aussietravellers Im guessing you guys are having a great time :):):)

I think the return trip for family was $99, plus we have a $5 discount voucher per person valid until the 31/12 this year. We arrive at LAX at 9:30am Im guessing by the time we get through customs we would possible be ready to board a bus by 10:30? Do you know what times they leave at around that time in the morning?

We would be leaving HOJO's november 11th for a late flight from LAX do you know what time the last bus leaves anaheim?

Thankyou so much ;)

ok. I have been taking the DL Express almost weekly for the last couple of months as we are staying in Anaheim and going into LA one day a week, so have been using the DL Express to get to LAX the to LA.

I will say that I stopped using the $5 vouchers. Because the price they were charging in person with the coupon was more than I would have paid prepaying online. I had prices for one person return from $27 to $33 per person WITH the coupon. The $99 is a good deal, provided that is the price you get in person. That family deal is not quoted in their brochure, so hopefully you will get that price when you get here.

For the times. From LAX, it has never come at the specified time, but from 10.30 the bus is "supposed" to come every half hour. So really the longest you should wait is half an hour if you have just missed the earlier one.
Their brochure says "hourly departures between 7.30am and 10.30am" "every 30 minutes between 10.30am and 4.30pm" and "Hourly departures between 4.30pm and 10.30pm". But basically you just wait and it will come. You just exit the terminal and look ahead to the "Green Zone". You will see as you exit and cross the road to the centre island, there are colours. Just cross when you see the green signs above the centre island. It's usually a white bus with a light sign in the front window that will say "Disneyland", then change to "Resort Express" (sometimes it's a sign written bus, you won't miss that), but also look for a plain white coach with the light sign in the windwo. There will also be a little Disneyland Express sign in the bottom front window closest to the road.

But don't be worried if you get out at 10.30am, it may come at 10.40 or 10.45 or 10.50. Just not reliable time wise.

You will be taken to Disneyland Hotel where someone will get on the bus and take your vouchers or credit card (no cash). Then the driver will drop you at your hotel.

Coming back. It says that HoJo's is in Schedule C. Schedule C says it picks up every hour at .40. So 10.40am, 11.40am etc, between 5.40am and 8.40pm (last bus). But you will be best to check with HoJo as I know they pick up at the Hyatt at .40 too as it's schedule C (It just has the schedule letter and the hotels listed under that schedule. Then has a pick up time for that schedule, not hotel). So it may be a bit before .40 as HoJo is a way up the road from the Hyatt. HoJo will be able to help you with the time I would say or you can call them when you are here to check on the HoJo pick up. All the brochure says is HoJo is under Schedule C and Schedule C pick up is .40 of the hour.

Anyway after they get you on that bus. You go back to Disneyland hotel where they will take your vouchers or payment (credit card) and you will most likely change bus and get on the bus to LAX. The bus seems to take from 45 minutes to an hour. The bus is supposed to leave (according to their schedule) to LAX on the hour, every hour between 6am and 9pm (so they pick up at the various locations before that to have you back at DLH for that departure).

Now as they have removed the brochure, they may of course be changing their schedule? Not sure. I just know that they told me a couple of weeks ago about a price rise and now the brochure has gone.

Hope that's been of some help. That has just been my experience and what the brochure says.

Just know that it's never a van. Plenty of white vans will pull up with Disneyland Express written on them (then another company name), but it's a white coach bus that you are looking for.

I have a copy of the brochure but haven't posted enough to email it to you. Is there an email address I could send it to?

I thought that the Family Pass was only available online, but I can't find that written anywhere to confirm. It's not listed anywhere on the brochure so I'd pre-purchase that one if it's what you're after.

Pick-ups are supposed to be on the hour/half hour beginning at terminal 1, for terminals after that the time varies depending on the length of each stop at the other terminals. They say it can take 3-5 mins at each terminal.

I have purchased the family pass on the bus.

Pick ups at LAX do not run to schedule. 3 to 5 minutes at each terminal is not correct either, it can be one minute if that. Pickups do not begin exactly on the half hour and top of the hour (although sometimes they may). I've never been picked up at terminal 1 on the hour or on the half hour. Last week we were picked up at .45pm in the evening.

Their brochure says "Pick-ups begin on the hour and the 1/2 hour starting at Terminal #1. Please allow approximately 3-5 minutes for pick-ups between each terminal." They may not run on time but there is a schedule. I guess they function on a similar timetable to Sydney trains based on your experience.

OMG Thank you so much for taking the time out of your holiday to post so much info that is great it helps heaps, I think I will see if we can still purchase the $99 return tickets online now

Hope you have a great time and once again thankyou:yay:

Ausfam, once you have it, I'd edit your post as this is a public board and you're likely to start getting a world of spam :)

There was just a post about the pricing on the DL board. Supports what I was saying about the inconsistancy in pricing. It really depends on who you get on the day to what you will be charged and also what they will allow. In the last two months I have had a family rate bought on the bus twice. Yet some won't do it and say it's just online. Infact the first time I bought a family pass I had asked for returns for each person and the person on the bus actually suggested to me that we get a family pass instead and processed it there for us there. :scratchin

So I think it's a great idea you get the pass now AussieFamof5 as when you get there, you won't know the exact price or if you can get the family pass. Better to be safe than sorry. :goodvibes

yes totally agree went online last night and purchased our passes had a feeling it was the right time ;)

Just thought I'd post the updated timetable is now available on their website

One line says hourly departures the next says pick ups begin on the half hour! It appears as though they've dropped to hourly pickups based on the website. It also looks like the online discount is gone and they're charging the $3 fuel surcharge on the shuttle service now.

Yeah I thought that was a but weird too. But if you go to book online you will still only pay $99 which is what we paid. Then on their site it says u don't pay fuel surcharge for airport shuttles..... So I guess what they mean is sometimes we do sometimes we don't lol
