How does it work getting back to the airport from the resort? We will be staying at Paradise Pier.

Figure on 45 minutes to an hour from DLH, add 15 minutes for PPH.

Do they arrange your pickup time? If not, how does the service work to get back to the airport?

They have a schedule of times. The main hub is DLH (the last departure for the airport, and it only takes 15-20 from there to SNA). PPH would be picked up before then. But it's on a schedule, so you just show up at the appointed time and get on the bus (and pay).

We had a lot of questions too...we usually rent a car in FL. I ended up calling them and getting a really nice lady on the phone. I would try that...sorry I don't remember her name.

I used it one time from LAX to PP. There is a schedule, they do not take reservations. Going to DL, they go to the DLH where you pay for either one way or roundtrip. I stayed on the same bus to PP. On the return, I was picked up at PP and taken to DLH, where we had to change busses. They collected my roundtrip ticket on the second bus.

You can prebook trips on Disneyland Resort Express.

I just prepaid a resort to LAX trip for the end of April for 2. I was told the bus departs hourly from the resorts. The last resort pick up is at the Disneyland Hotel, then its a straight shot to LAX. I got a voucher through email that I must present when I board the bus. We reserved a DH pick up but the operator with Grayline told me we could pick up a bus anywhere it stops and they will honor the voucher.

Our plan is to take our carry-ons to the park (smallish backpacks - this is a quick DL getaway) and stow them in a locker. the last day of the trip, play all day in park and grab one of the last busses back to the airport from the DH (probably the second to last bus ... just to be safe).

There is a schedule of departures and pick up times on the Southern California Gray Lines website. It tells you what time you will be picked up from your hotel and what time you will be at the airport.(http://graylineanaheim.com/docs/GL Anaheim DRE Brochure 2009.pdf) Therefore you choose when you need to be at the airport, check the corresponding hotel pickup time and be at the pick up spot to catch the bus. When we went in November we didn't have a problem at all with the service. I booked a round trip online and printed off 2 vouchers. One for airport to hotel and the other for hotel to airport. When I booked it the email told me to call and confirm what time I would be using the service when I flew into LAX and they told me to call 48hrs prior to my departure day to ensure that the bus stopped at my hotel - I think they like to have a preliminary number of people. When I boarded the bus each time, they took my printed voucher and it was done. I know that people who are taking the DLE to SNA got picked up by our bus at their hotel and then had to change busses at the DLH. I thought the service was affordable and reliable. I will be using them again in July and will be coming from SNA rather than LAX. There is also a $5off coupon on the orange county website.

Thank you for that info! I'm just a little concerned travelling with 3 little ones but it sounds like we should be fine.
