Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders: Bring a Friend this Summer

As I don't know much about AP, those in the know is this something AP's will definitely bite on?
As a Signature passholder (I’m not blocked) I will definitely bite. Off the top of my head, my husband will use this to go visit Star Wars (he doesn’t have or want an AP), and a friend and her daughter who are visiting me in August will do it.

My BIL just decided to come on Sunday based on this, and another family of 3 is considering it in a couple of weeks. It'll bring in business for sure.

The "even if you're blocked, you can get this for yourself" bit is smart, too.

I am for sure bringing people. I have signature plus, so no block outs and I have parking. So some of my friends would ride with me and not have to pay for parking either. Last year I brought 7 different people throughout the summer when they had the Pixar Fest friend deal. I’m already bringing 3 people, we just have to pick a day. Going to try and convince my parents to come too. My mom seems excited...my dad is all “I just want to ride Small world, eat a churro, and people watch ”...so we will see about him lol

I just bought a 2 day park hopper for my son at 11:30pm last night for $280. I would have been pissed if my plan wasnt to upgrade it to a flex pass!! Glad I decided to take advantage of the crowds and going tonight and tomorrow

Anyone have any idea of how the flex pass will work? If it’s a reservation only day and I have a reservation, can I purchase for my guest for that day?

I'm betting that the Flex AP holder will need a reservation but that the paid-on-demand guests, through this offer, will be warmly welcomed through the turnstiles. The blackouts/reservations should not apply to the $99pp/per day tickets.

AP holders like you, midnight star, should get their AP extended by a month for every 5 non AP person you bring to the parks. You are making them $$$ big time.

Ooooooh, I like that idea! I immediately forwarded the email offer to three friends who couldn't join us during the Reservation period. This deal is much better than paying $149pp+tax and w/out the 4-hour window restriction.

We're Sig + APs and will definitely take advantage of this for at least 3 guests; my older son and his GF, and then my dad. I may even take my dad 2 days. We'll see.

Yep, same as a parkhopper was what, 7 or 8 years ago, bargain.
I’m not one obviously but AP’s need to be unblocked or pay a lot less than $99 to go on a blocked day. Even if they just open up Tue/Wed/Thu, they need to fill up the parks. This can’t go on much longer before there are some big changes in the management team in operations.
All the best.

FWIW, I didn't feel that either park was particularly "empty" on my visit Wednesday. Granted, I was only there for five hours (~9:30a to 2:30p), and wait times were lovely but there were a good number of people milling in the parks. I spoke with folks who attended Monday who said similarly of that day: short wait times but generally busy.

I liked it!
