This is for the DL team, or anyone in the DL know. :)

After zillions of WDW trips, I'm finally going to go to DL for the first time ever in December!! I was going to go last Dec, but then DAP was announced, and we went back to our normal WDW in December trip, lol.

I can't decide whether to go the first or second week of December. Any reasons why I should choose one over the other? Pros/cons for crowd size, entertainment availability, etc for one week over the other?

Thanks! Getting antsy to book this thing so I can start a countdown, lol!

There's not a big difference between the first and second weeks of December. The "lull" between Thanksgiving and mid-December is a nice time to visit. Fireworks usually show every night, and Fantasmic typically plays Thurs-Sun. Park hours are also the same for both weeks: about 9am-9pm M-Th, 8am-midnight F-Sun. Either week would probably be fine, but if lower crowds are your number one priority, I would probably choose the first week of December. Hope this helps!

Don't forget that our Candlelight Processional is usually the first weekend in December and only runs for 2 days. Either time is good, but the weather can get a bit rainier toward the end of the month, if the season is due to get a bit wetter. If it does rain, it can make for a truly wonderful time and big lack of crowds.

Happy planning, no matter which week you decide!
