Thanks DisneySuiteFreak! I was exploring on a pathway and stairs that heads down towards the Rivers of America kind of close to the HM. I didn't even realize the logs went out that far. Here's another I took from that area that may help you get an idea where it was....

Looking across to the island:

And, at one point I turned around and saw these:

Danny's flowers! It was late in the afternoon so the sun was shining directly at me from Splash Mt. and I'm afraid my photo isn't as picturesque as his.

You have some great observations from HM that I'll have to look for the next time I ride it!

Thanks Kat4Disney and thanks for sharing the location info with us. I'll have to go look for that next time I'm there. I, too, didn't know you could get a view like that of Splash until I saw your photo. Cool!

DisneySuiteFreak - Love the inside shots of HM. Never knew that information
Goofy- Great shot inside tiki, the lighting in that shot was perfect. Tiki holds a special place in my heart. The first time we went to DL about three years ago we went inside tiki, it was night, and everyone (old and young) was singing along. It was magical.
Everyone's shots are beautiful. It's still one of the favorite the parts of my day.

Kathy......that is a great picture and I love that little area where you can look back on SM. I've camped out there for hours at a time it seems! Now, "Danny's Flowers".........interesting description for sure. I wonder if they would put a little small sign there? I'm thinking probably not!

Thanks Danny! There are a lot of things back in that area that kept my attention for awhile. If Disney won't put up the sign then maybe I'll sneak one in the next time I'm there.

Thank you!! That was from my first trip with a DSLR and I'd owned it less than a month. I was certain my 20+ year old tripod would fall apart and it would end up in the moat while I was taking this picture! Both it and I were dangling as far over as I dared b/c I was not taking the strap off my neck!
