Nice shot Mike! I really like the lighting a lot! Was it during that magical, golden hour? ;) Isn't it amazing what a difference the light makes? I never really realized why so many of my previous shots weren't up to par until my last trip when I got to spend a little more time looking for better ways to get a shot and moving around if the light wasn't good. Normally my DH and DS would be like, "How many pictures of the same thing do you have to get?" :rotfl: But DS was in school and DH was off on his own a lot on business.:laughing:

Yeah it was during that magical time of the day. Right when the sun is going down and the light is just pure magic for a photographer. When you wrote that awhile back I was nodding my head agreeing with you as I read it. You were dead on. I found myself driving a different route one morning seeing a beautiful field of wheat and the sun was coming up on it and I wished I had my camera with me. Love your shots by the way!!!!

When's the golden hour??? I have a feeling it's early in the morning!

In photography it's usually the hour before and after sunrise or sunset, but it really depends on your location in the world, the sun's altitude and how long it takes the sun to rise or set. It could actually be only 30 minutes or in some parts of the world during certain times of the year it could be all day long.

Thanks Mike!

WOW! That is a great shot. :thumbsup2 Thank you for posting it. All the dark ride shots are my favorites because so few of mine ever turn out good.

Thank you Robert TG! I appreciate that! :goodvibes With your eye for photography, maybe it's time to consider upgrading to a DSLR so you can get a fast prime lens to enable the dark ride photos...:cool1:I hope I'm not being a bad influence or anything; it's just a thought... ;)
