I agree! It is a very nice, witty and bright bunch of people on this board (and talented, too, as evidenced by this specific thread)! Everyone not only has little stories like the Thurl Ravenscroft story to share, but valuable tips and bits of wisdom that can help other people plan their trips to DLR or other Disney parks. I always say that, no matter how many times any of us have been to DLR or how much we think we know about it, there is always some little nugget of info that someone else on DISboards will have to share that we didn't previously know! There is always some detail that has yet to be discovered or some person who has done, eaten or seen something that the rest of us have not yet come across, and so DISboards is a never-ending source of knowledge as well as just being a fun place to hang out and chat with people who are on the same page!

They all are!!! MY DS's love trying to count as many as they can that look like 'real' hidden Mickey's.

I grew up calling that particular species "Mickey Ear" cactus.

My DH made a FLUTE! Exact replica!!! It's in my china cabinet!! Prized possions....

Thanks! This pic was taken with no flash so maybe that's why you like the lighting, it's just the way you see it in person! It was the evening parade so it was such a pretty mix of ambient light and parade lights!

Yes, Soaring over Disneyland is my favorite part of the ride.

There is another picture that I tried to get from the ride...The Golf Ball that zooms up to the screen as you are soaring over the golf course.

This was my effort, the very blurry white dot in the middle is the golf ball.

LOL I love that golf ball! It's one of my favorite pieces of trivia, that it's Michael Eisner hitting the ball and there is a Mickey head on the ball itself!

Kudos to all of you who take pictures on the rides! I always mean to but rarely get the camera out for it.

It's been a busy day but I managed to get a few minutes to post a picture for today. Robert TG has forced me to post another one from Soarin'. The funny thing about this is that as I'm sitting here listening to VF radio, the Soarin' with GPWS extended track just came on. Nice shot, Robert!

Beautiful! I love all of your fireworks pictures especially since we don't always get to see the the fireworks when we go in October - last year they were cancelled due to wind on the one day that we were there and fireworks were on the schedule.

The gold ball freaks me out, so does the helicopter im not usre why they just freak me out.

Wow pretty ! I like to take pictures but whenever we go i dont have a camera so i cant. The halloween thing that disneyland is doing sounds really cool. All the kids getting riled up on candy sure sounds fun to. jk Especially my sister.Hopefully i can get pictures there on my moms camera.
