ND, did they actually light up Grizzley mountain green or is that some post processing? Either way very nice pic. My only shot (wife wouldnt let me lug a tripod) is that exactly same shot) I rested it on that fence, about 2 hours earlier.

Joe you got the pic I tried to get, mine was a tad blury but prolly good for a 5x7 print... I blame my lack of experience vs camera...

I will stay in DCA with this pic, nothing again too spectacular just a clean picture. I think it would make a nice wallpaper.

I am torn on this pic, for the wall paper quote I think the below link may be better with some photoshop action to get rid of the wall partition.

Here are two photo's of the Bear during Mickey's Halloween Treat where there is a spider web projection.

Thanks CAbryan! No post processing on that shot. However, I was a bit surprised when I noticed it as well. It was a 47 second exposure and with the green tree next to the gray peak, my assumption is that the light casts that green hue on the sensor's photocells. Also, if you were to see a 100% crop of the peak, it's a bit overexposed causing the colors to wash out. I took another shot at 26 seconds and it exposed correctly but the rest of the frame was a bit dark. Although, the stars didn't trail much at all.

Here is the 26 second exposure first. 2nd is the same shot with a white balance adjustment and a 100% crop. Much better color I think.

OOO, why is the bear GREEN ??

disneyL0VE.......see my response above. It was the first thing I noticed when going through my shots and I knew I would get questions about it if I posted it. ;)

That second shot really shows how you got that green, very nice....and I think you are right about the light cast, the D80 sensors love green and I dont know enough to talk about anything else other then what I read :)

Love your pics, keep them coming :) Not to mention I am a crazy Nikon fan so that makes it worse

This goofy perspective on a cloudy morning sort of caught my eye.

Yeah - I'm going to have to invest in a polarizing lens, but I couldn't resist the reflection in this poster! It was too bizarre to not take the shot!

Here's mine for today - hopefully I'll grab some others this weekend. I took these since rumor has it that we won't be seeing the sun for much longer...

These are all so wonderful to look at. I have so many great photos to post, but I don't know how to post them.:guilty:

During our last trip, I was looking for different perspectives for fireworks shots. This is from the bench right next to the Westward Ho wagon. Not the best, but doable.
