Well, I now have some time to sit down and start working on this thing. A little late, but not too bad.
I unfortunately did not take good enough notes to do a full trip report, but I thought I could at least share my pictures.

****WARNING... THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A GROUP OF PAST AND PRESENT ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW CAST MEMBERS GO TO THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH****
Let's start with the members of our party.
Amanda
From Left to Right, Chris S., who is currently dressed as Christie, Chris G., in the back seat, and Amanda's mother on the right. Everyone give a shout out to Chris G., who just joined the DISboards as Chris420!
Next, we come to Davey Jones. Yes, that is his name.
Finnaly, we come to me, James.
If any one has ever made the boring drive from Phoenix to Anaheim, they will know that it is just that. However, as you get close to Cabazon, there are some interesting sites.
Look everyone! It's the windmills. It makes it a pain in the butt to drive down the freeway with those blowing winds, but they sure are cool to look at. These pictures don't do them justice.
Next we come to Cabazon, and of course had to stop and see the Dinos at the Cabazon Dinosaur Museum. Some of you may recognize these bad boys from Pee Wee's Big Adventure. We also stopped at the diner that Large Marge sent him too. They had yummy biscuits and gravy.
After some minor vehicle drama we were on our way to Anaheim. We arrived at the Motel 6 Anaheim Maingate. A couple of us had stayed there previously and were satisfied with it in the past. Well, things have changed. I wish I had taken pictures, but I was so disgusted by it. The beds are more flimsy than they ever were before. They took out all of the dresser's and drawers from the rooms and to top it off, the remodel that they recently completed makes the rooms look like a bad IKEA floor model.!
DO NOT EVER STAY AT THE MOTEL 6 MAINGATE. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY FOR A BETTER HOTEL!
By this point we were really ready to get to the parks and start having a good time.
Chris was excited as a little kid!

Christie turned back into Chris.
Throughout the rest of these photos, you may see a gesture repeated quite often. Please know that this gesture is not vulgar or offensive. It is an obscure reference from an obscure movie. I would explain but, Chris G (Chris420) and Davey Jones have sworn me to secrecy.

Your group looks like you are all having a blast!!! And you are not a bad photographer - IMO!! I was intrigued by your windmill pics, the pic of the exit sign for Yucca Valley and the pics of the dinosaurs...10 years ago I moved from that area - it was a blast from my past! Can't wait to read more!!
