They are the only site to post it so far. Won't include the link -- against Disboard rules, Correct?

It is a slippery slope, soon everything will have a add on. BUT if you use it for 2 rides a day, it would only be $20 -30 aday. This is how all companies get/hook you through.

I just saw that Disneyland Paris has now rolled out a "pay per ride" fast pass system. You pay for your entrance ticket and then pay (American value) $8-$15 per person, per ride for fast pass. As I recall they also said that they are moving the "stand by" line to a virtual type of que where you have to get a "boarding pass time" to return to the attraction (within a window timeframe) to even get on the ride. The ability to showing up, hanging out, and even standing in the standby line seems to be something that may be slowly disappearing.

I am not sure if this will transfer to the US but it appears that Disney Execs are trying to make DisneyWorld and Disneyland a playland for those with higher disposable incomes with fewer people/access and higher per guest spending ratio. You can see the start of this in only offering extended evening hours to those guests staying in Deluxe and Deluxe Villa properties. Moderate and Values now only will get the 30 minute early morning access. So, it would not surprise me to see the pay per ride fast pass system return. I was helping a friend price a WDW vacation the other day and for her family of 4, even in a Value hotel, the price was almost not affordable for them.

We have stayed at almost all the moderate and deluxe properties - including club level at many of the deluxe. The price increases lately have been notable and I find myself hesitant to book some properties that I used to book all the time. It makes me sad that the place Walt dreamed about for families is becoming more and more exclusive .... but it seems many things are going in that direction.

It will be interesting to see how long the "good will" of the American public will last as we move out of the pandemic stage --- right now there is a high demand -- and travelers seem accepting of it -- but sadly an affordable DisneyWorld vacation might be a thing of the past.
