Trip Report – Our belated 25th wedding anniversary trip
6 nights at Disneyland Paris-Sequoia Lodge

Sun 10 Jun
Arrive at CDG mid morning – little searching/walking but found the VEA and away we go!
:welcome: Check in around noon thirty and our room is ready! Nice room in Yellowstone lodge – Great location! Since we’re staying 6 nights – VIP Breakfast (this was a huge perk!)
Rested/Freshened up a bit then had lunch at Earl of Sandwich, walked through Disney Village and entered Parc Disneyland!
Beautiful park – really loved the detail and hats off to the Imagineers who designed the Dragon under the castle and the extra themed walkways Liberty and Discovery on the far sides of Main Street stores.
Dinner – Drinks and food at the Sequoia bar

Mon 11 Jun
Chartered tour of Paris – Very cool – Eifel tower had elevator issues, (still got to walk around get good pics) so we went to Tour Montparnasse for awesome pics of the city – Boat cruise down the seine – Crepes at the café outside the Hotel de Louvre –Night visit to Disneyland and see the Disney Dreams castle/fireworks show - Great day!

Tues 12 Jun
Studios – Rainy. Though they have added attractions, still such a small park, not too impressive, though Crush’s coaster is awesome! – Left before noon, went back to Disneyland Park and ate at Walt’s for lunch – Everything we had (puff veggie appetizer, cod entrée, chocolate desert) was very good, except DW’s strip steak which was below average

Wed 13 Jun
Chartered tour of Versailles – One of our favorite parts of the trip – Amazing, highly recommended, only wish it was a little longer. We departed at 2:45 – guess the timing was to dodge traffic? – Back at the resort, one more Earl of Sandwich and another visit to Disneyland!

Thr 14 Jun –
Sleep in, get a late breakfast – Get brave enough to buy RER tickets and travel into the city for some shopping, stop at Auber and find Printemps – Hear my wallet scream RUN, HELP! :) - Actually DW found some decent deals on a couple pair of shoes. Didn’t stray to far from this area of the city as being unfamiliar, the street patterns can get disorienting.
Stopped at a café nearby for a bite then back on the Auber RER toward Marne le Valle Chesy around 4:45
Back to the resort for our nightly walk and visit to Disneyland – Buying length of stay passes was good, we really used everyday.

Fri 15 Jun – Last full day
Decided to give the studios another shot, focused on shows. Very good! – Liked Cinemagique a bit better than Animagique – still done with the park by noon. Over to Disneyland for lunch at Casey’s – Tarzan show, Big Thunder, then back to hotel for rest with one more stop by earl of sandwich – Last minute decision to take the night charter tour of Paris – Glad we did! Eifel tour light show is stunning! – Back in bed by midnight, short night for us as VEA pick up is 7:00AM!

Sat 16 Jun – Departure day  No issues, long flight, tired but thankful for an incredible trip and safe travels back to the USA.

Highs – Too many to list all of them, but here's some: The resort, the park details, the city, Versailles, Crepes, value at earl of sandwich, seeing/hearing the football fans during the Euro cup matches – No internet/cell phone coverage – Nice to be unplugged from the world for vacation.
We did pay 5 Euro for 15 min at Hotel New York to print out boarding passes and to send a quick note to folks back home

Lows – Weather, :umbrella: rained a little everyday and was chilly, but did not “dampen” our trip – Rudeness of some international guests – Just some cutters here and there, not excessive, but a bit annoying. – Closing early of Hakuna Matata – Arrived just a bit after 17:00 one day and was denied – ended up eating at the Fuente del Oro Restaurante which was pretty bland

Overall thoughts – You know you’ve had a good trip when at the end you can say “I’d really like to come back here again” – We will, just will be a few years before we do.

A nearly perfect trip and loved spending it with my beautiful wife.
Peace!

Glad you had a great time... I have to ask, did you fly in from the States for 6 days???

Yes flew in from the States for 6 nights. Would have loved to stay longer and visited more sites in Europe, but most I could get scheduled off of work was one week.

very cool trip report :thumbsup2 - we were there at the same time as you at the start of your trip, Sunday to Wednesday :).

Lovely trip report :goodvibes You managed to fit loads in. :thumbsup2 We've done the day trip to Paris and the evening one too - fabulous way to see Paris.
