Disneyland on 12/22?

Okay dd and I are AP holders that live close to DL. I was panning on staying away from DL during the holidays but my sister is coming and wants to go. How crowded do you think DL will on that day? THier hours are posted as 8am to Midnight. Would it be better to go on the 3rd of January? Any tips would be great!

Honestly, I've never had a problem with the crowds (lucky? or just don't care?). I live less than 15 minutes away and many times I would go just to walk around.
Many times I go just to people watch.

extended hours = expected crowds

That doesn't mean you shouldn't go and have fun anyway!

I do think that we will go anyway. It will be a great way to start of our vacation!! Plus my sister has never been to DL so what a great way to start off her vacation as well.
