When we were at World of Disney in September we came accross some little 'lego' type sets that made up Disneyland. They had the castle, pooh's corner, etc. I think there were 5 or 6 total. I want to say they were $20-25 each?

Does anyone know what make they were? Megablocks, Lego, other? And what the sets are titled and priced?

I'd like to look on Ebay for them, or perhaps call World of Disney and have them shipped to us, but I need to know what I'm looking/asking for. LOL.

I remember seeing those, and went looking on the Disney Parks section of disneyshopping.com for you. :)

Is it something like the BTMRR set, item 400127759346P, on disneyshopping? Might be cheaper to order from there, rather than use deliverears (delivears? can't control my typing fingers that want to finish up "deliver" there). They have others on disneyshopping, too.

They are not Lego brand, I can tell you that much as we are Lego fanatics and follow what Lego manufactures closely. I can tell you that the Lego Toy Story sets will be launching this January and are absolutley the cutest things you can imagine. Bullseye especially.

I don't recall the sets that you are talking about being Megablock either.

We have a mickey mouse clubhouse( for the toddlers) "lego" set, although it is not Lego the brand. I think it is MegaBlock, but they are so cheaply made and don't even connect that well.

No problem, you can probably google it and it should come up. We have found early release pictures on a bunch of Lego discussion boards....kinda like disboards but Lego!;)

My boys call them "Flagos". I asked them what that means & they said it's because they are Fake Legos. :lmao: Someone should have figured out the licensing issues!! :rolleyes1

So funny! My boy is such a lego snob :snooty:that if it's not lego he wants nothing to do with it.....

Lego snob here too! This is because other brands do not connect well like Lego. I looked at a close up pic of the Disney buidling block sets and you can tell the plastic looks cheaper. Lego prides itself of making each brick presicely the same. Other companies do not quality control like this, so some may fit and some may be loose. I used to visit Lego forums too, but haven't for a while. AFOLs (adult fans of Lego) make some of the most amazing creations! If they have a Toy Story Lego, I'll have to get that. :thumbsup2

Those Disney block sets are neato! I need one of the Splash Mountain sets.
:adds to wish list:
:)

The Lego TS army men are awesome!!

We are huge Lego snobs, have a huge room dedicated just to Lego. If you keep a close eye out Lego tends to release January sets right before Christmas so you may be able to score some of the TS sets early. They will often hit the online Lego shop before they hit the Lego retail store. Lego sometimes cuts deals with Toysrus and lets them release them a couple weeks before as well.
