Hello all:goodvibes So with our resort package we get 2 lanyards for free. Exactly what is a lanyard? I've looked online and just seen pin type thingees. Has anyone seen the present lanyards? Do most people wear them? thanks again for any tidbits of info:thumbsup2

You wear the lanyard around your neck and it has a plastic pouch to hold your FP's and ticket (if you choose - be careful, sometimes the pouch can come off and you will lose everything).. With your lanyard, you get a special pin (it depends on which company you book with). Most people use this as a starting point for collecting/trading pins. You see lots of people wearing their lanyards. We have booked with AAA for our last few trips and each time we have received a lanyard with the AAA travel co design and a pin. Each travel company has a different color/design... I believe the WDTC is blue?

A lanyard is a strap you wear around your neck. Many people attach their pins to them, but they also come in handy for carrying your room key, cash and other small cards or slips of paper in, like a transit pass, etc. The lanyards have a plastic, waterproof, pouch attached to it.

Hi, I'm from BC as well and we got our kids' lanyards just recently, we leave on Tuesday. :goodvibes

It says Disneyland on it, and it also has the name of the tour company on it and has a plastic holder attached to it. The lanyard came with four pins and a little brochure on pin trading. It had an interesting tip as well, it said that there are CM's that wear teal blue laynards in the parks and these CMs can only trade with children.

Lanyards are great.

I always bring one with me to hold my day pass and fast passes. It makes life so much easier because they don't get lost in my pocket or wet.

Then I have a separate one for pin trading which holds my pins. I either bring the one I have or decide to buy a new one that I like better.

Yep, teal lanyards are only for kids, but sometimes they overlook this... don't count on it much though.

cool,thanks guys:thumbsup2
