Disneyland is a work of love: June 2010 PTR 6/2 p.61 updated itinerary

:hyper: The calandar is up for WDW. What are your dates? Remember to stay away from the parks with the EMH. I do break that rule for 3 reasons: when WS has EMH 9-midnight as WS is magic at night; when MK has EMH from 9-midnight for the same reason and the park is empty from about 10:30 pm til midnight; and when AK has EMH from 5-8 pm because AK at dusk is amazing! :wizard:

We are going from 11/28-12/10. I saw AK has a couple of EMH when we are there.

That is a wonderful project. I think that with today's world it is a good thing to think of others.

With a therapist/social worker for a mother :hippie: and a firefighter :firefight for a father, she doesn't have much choice. ;)

That is a fabulously long trip! :woohoo: I just glanced at the hours. I would do one of the AK EMH, one of the WS, and one of the MK. Are you getting park hoppers?

I know a therapist/social worker and her daughter is a spoiled rotten brat.....and has been for years. I think so much of that is how you raise your children.

:rotfl2: That's funny and I agree. I think we set a fairly good example with regard to looking past our own front door.

And that is what matters. I think that although my friend is socially aware and a good person she has spoiled her daughter beyond belief.

Yes we have park hoppers. I am going to do all of those EMH that you suggested. I was going to take a couple of days for a break because we only have 10 day ph but I am wondering if instead of taking a whole day break if just going into a park for the late afternoon evening (I am thinking the late EMH in this case). Would this work? I do have Ridemax and TGMike.

Sad. I was a spoiled only child and it took years of therapy to work through.

You are at 13 days, do you generally do the parks on your travel days?

Well, the poor thing was an only child until she was a teenager. They waited to have more until mom finished school.

You have a few different options. I don't do the parks on travel days so that would leave me with 11 days and a 10 day hopper. In that case, I would do a water park. The water parks are SO much fun. On the travel days depending on your time of arrival you could do DTD and/or hang at the Pop. I am guessing you'll do daily midday breaks so you will get plenty of Pop pool time. :thumbsup2

If you are planning on doing the parks all 13 days then I would definetly do a water park, a day at the hotel pool and then dinner at one of the hotels, and a day/night in DTD.

:scared1: The teens years are not a good time to learn to share. ;)

No, I agree. My sisters kids are like 8 years apart and they are not close at all. My kids are basically stair steps. 17, 16, 14. Well, neary om the 16 and the 14.

Normally we go on the down day but not the coming home day, am not sure why though.

We never do when we fly and are at WDW, I am way too big of a freak. :hyper: When we are in Disneyland we do but this trip our passes are blocked on both Saturdays which I actually like because then it's a non-negotiable and I don't have to be the bad guy. :rotfl: Plus we'll have 6 full days which is plenty.

I don't know this is our first trip. ;)

I am not planning on going into the parks on travel days. My dh would LOVE a water park. I am not sure if we will do a water park because of the weather. I know it will be warm for us since we are from the midwest. I want to go to MVMCP. I think I will do that the night before we leave or should I do that on 12/5.

Mine too: 12, 11, and 8. My girls are only 22 months apart and Chloe and Joshua are just under 3 years apart.

I don't mind being the bad guy and making all the decisions. I get told "what ever you want honey", so that is the way that it is.

Hot dog!!!! Dining plan? If so, CRT is SO not worth 2 credits each. Sure, the castle is cool but the food is garbage and you only see Cinderella at the beginning. For princess: go to Akershus in Norway. :thumbsup2

In December, I'd skip the water park or leave it as an option. I would do MVMCP on 12/5. I hate putting things off until the last day as you never know how beat you'll be. We are seeing WoC right at the start for this very reason. Also do your rope drops in the beginning. It gets harder to wake up as the trip progresses.

Yes we have the regular dining plan. We are going to go to Akershus.

I am leaving the water park as an option. I am going to plan to do the party on 12/5 and have that day and the next as rest days because on 12/6 is Fantasmic and I was thinking it would be a good night to go and see that and rest in morning since we would be out late the night before.

Awesome! Where else? I would plan your days tonight as much as possible then make your ADRs according to where you'll be. Having said that, it is fun to eat at some of the hotels so just remember to plan a good 45 minutes to get where you need to be.

Good idea. Remember though even one minute in the park takes up a full day of your ticket.
