Sorry I forgot to mention that Day 1 was DD7's birthday. She hid the sticker all day and was shy. She did ask if she was going to have a special treat for dinner. I told her we would go to a party on Sunday. That made her feel better.
We started Sunday out at 7:45. We were quite a ways back in line but no problem. We entered at 8:05 and headed to Fantasyland. We were finding that the big rides we could FP but Fantasyland seems slower to get on if you wait. I ran to get FP for Indy while everyone else headed for Casey Jr. I had 8:50 FP which we used at 9:30 pm. The girls and DA were waiting for the employees to get the train ready. I joined them as they were getting on. We rode alone and stayed on and rode with another family. We headed for PP, 5 minute wait. Smart move, by the time we got off the inside cue was full and never lessened throughout the day or noc. Then we headed for Dumbo, 3 times to wait we did get the golden dumbo so it was worth that extra ride we couldn't get on. The rest headed to see Cinderella at the castle, who I saw coming out when I had come up with the FP. I ran over to get Buzz FP and got back with only 1 person ahead of us to see Cinderella, the rest waited about 10 minutes. Cinderella is DD 4's favorite.
We then headed to the far side of the park, I always find it fills up slower. We got on HM, in the stretch room, elevator went down no audio, hmm. It was broken and we had to walk out. Never rode it again that day because it was down or really long lines. Glad we had gone on yesteraday. Went out to the pooh ride gave us enough time for the next time to come available to get FP for Splash. It was too cold by the time we got back to the park on Sat. So we never used those FP. By the way we have a 3" stack of FP we didn't even use. Girls have a great souvenir set and for scrap book. I even gave quite a few away like for Indy when I knew we wouldn't get back to them.
It was 10:00 and we saw our favorite characters with only a 3 minute wait. Pooh, Tigger and Eyore. We got kiss sounds from Pooh and I even got Eyore to get excited when I mentioned we had to use the fat pen for him to sign because it was easier. He nodded his head, pointed and even did a little jig. We then did some Pooh store shopping for Candy and some presents. I was good and got the cheese popcorn and stayed away from the candy. DD 7 had the Hunny apple, choc. and carmel covered, really good.
Time to get out some energy. We headed for Tom Sawyers Island. DH stayed on the mainland and got us BTMRR FP. The girls ran through the caves up the treehouse and had a great time. I want to pass along a great idea I read on the threads that we used a lot. I filled up a water bottle 3/4 of the way with water and used the individual crystal light packets to make lemonade. The girls loved it and the drinking fountains were very cold, especially on The Island.
We took a Lunch break at Rancho del Zoco (sp?) It was good food and a large amount. During lunch another FP time came up so we got another BTMRR. We then rode it with earlier FP. (DH doesn't ride roller coasters so we would use his FP and end up with 2 extra after a few). That way DD4 could ride with one of us if DD 7 wanted to do Indy which she is too short for).
It was close to time for our Party at the Plaza. It was a good time, everybody decorated their own cake, Pat E Cake was corny but cute and the birthday girl got to dance with Mickey and Goofy. We got lots of pictures and everyone wore their mickey birthday hats for a few hours.
We then road splash mt. I was in 2nd row no one was in front since we had a party of 5. My feet and legs got wet. I had capri's on and got smart after the first hill and rolled them up to keep dry. I did chicken out and wear a rain coat. We headed back to BTMRR, I have roller coaster addicts. Then we went to the Petting Zoo. No animals came near us. This is not anywhere near the Disney standard area. We were disappointed.
We fought our way through Fantasyland. So glad we had done it earlier. Wow what lines!!! We went to Toontown which was also zooy. A nice person gave us 3 FP for Roger Rabbit which were ready in 40 minutes. DD4 was excited she got to see Goofy's play house but not sister who is too old. I headed to the boat with DD7 and DA went with DD 4. I guess it was ok but then we missed big sister. They did Chip and Dale and the boat. Then we took a rest break on the benches and DD4 and DA rode Roger Rabbit. DD7 won't ride it, too dark and too much spin. It was nice not to have to wait in line for the Go coaster, Now that the girls are tall enough for BTMRR, no interest. The first year we went we DD4 was 2 almost 3 and 36", not much we could ride.
DD4 was ready for slower rides so we headed to DCA. Hit the park at 5:15. Had the girls up on Shoulders to see Block Party. We had the Monster float in front of us. We avoided the crush afterwards and went to the test pilot grill. We had to eat outside so a bit brisk. We headed Bugs Life and rode Heimlich, Tuck and Roll, the rest of us watched as DD4 and DA did Lady bug. Thank goodness for DA or I would have to spin. Finished with Flick's Flyers and got everyone in another layer of clothes.
We headed back to DL at 7:30 so we could miss the parade crush. Got more FP for Buzz and rode with our earlier ones. Rode BTMRR with FP. DA and DD7 headed for Fantasmic. DD 4 wanted to ride so we walked on BTMRR 2 more times. We then watched some of Fantasmic we could see the island and the rafts from by Mark Twain boat. I had seen it 2 years ago when we went. I probably will wait to see it next time. Again rode BTMRR walk on. I had enough of it by then.
DD 7 and DA headed to Fireworks, glad they went it was the only noc they ran during DA's 3 days. She got a good view from the West edge of the Plaza without any wait. DD4 and I rode Jungle Cruise at Noc. Really neat. I like it with the lights. We waited for the other 2 to come back from the fireworks and the DD7 and I rode Indy with our 8:50 am FP. DA and DD4 did Jungle Cruise again. Believe it or not we rode BTMRR 1 more time without FP. Then we headed to Fantasyland and did Casey Jr., Dumbo, (a little cold), tea cups, Pinocchio and Snowwhite. I can't remember if we did the Buzz FP again or not. By evening life was a blurr.
No naps and only DH took a break. What troopers.
