Hi, going to Disneyland/California Adventure in June and would like to know what's the average wait times for some of the more popular attractions (Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, California Screamin', etc...) Also would it be best to ride those rides in the morning and save some of the not so popular rides for the afternoon then ride the popular ones when it's gets close to closing? Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated!

I can't help with the wait times, but I guess as June is busy the lines will be long. The best stratergy is to collect fast passes for the popular rides in the morning, making sure you collect a new fast pass as soon as the ticket says you can. Then as the CM's don't look at the end time you can use these fast passes in the afternoon/evening when the lines will be busy. Also it is useful to know that Roger Rabbit in DL and the GRR in DCA are not connected to the FP system so you can get FP's for them when ever you want to and it will not affect your next FP return times for the other rides.
Also make sure you are at the park 30 minutes before it opens so you can enjoy the park before the crowds start to arrive.
If you want help planning the best order to do the rides you want in a lot of people suggest a subscription to ridemax www.ridemax.com This program allows you to put in the rides you would like to do and it tells you what is the best order to do them in for the say of your visit.

If you look for Hydroguys rules on these boards he has many tips for DL when it is buzy and tips on how best to use FP's

This June is a bit of a wild card with the Nemo Subs ride opening June 11. This will bring crowds especially to DL (not so much DCA). No one is sure how much this will spill to other attractions.

It is hard to say what wait times will be. I am going late June and expect to see major rides like Space Mtn and Splash Mtn 60-90 minutes long mid-day. However, we never wait in lines that long.

IMO it is best to get Fastpasses for rides like Space and Splash and not ride them in the morning. Use morning hours to go on rides without Fastpass. If you do not know how to use Fastpass, then learn it before you go. The few hours you spend now learning to use it will save you many hours at the parks.

Thanks for the help, we certainly are reading about the FastPass thing. Sounds like a really great idea. Also we're going in mid June from the 15th to the 22nd. We plan on doing the two parks Mon-Wed to help avoid the weekend crowds. But thanks again to both of you for the help and advice.

Is it usually different for the beginning of the month apposed to the middle to end?

We were there last year at the end of June through early July, our longest wait time was 20 minutes but that was due to careful planning. We were lucky enough to have a 14 day pass and so came and went as we pleased but we got to see which days were quieter over that fortnight. The days that were closed out for the APs were the quieter days, you can find out at the AP office which is on the right as you enter (by the theatre). We got to the maingate at around 0815 on the days that didn't have early entry and went hard till about 1000 with little or no lines. Then as others have suggested get fastpasses from around 0900 and keep replacing as quick as you are able. From 1000 to about 1100 we rode the less popular rides, used our fastpass rides, then shopped took photos till around midday when we would leave the park to go back to the Hotel for a swim, lunch etc while we waited for our FPs. Go back into the park around 2pm, get new FPs catch parades, more photos more shopping before coming out at 6 for dinner, Then back in around 730 to go hard till closing...

Just bought Ridemax, looks like it's gonna come in handy. The biggest wait time was Nemo at 8pm at night with a 175 minute wait, that was the last ride but that can be altered to later. Also does anyone know since the park closes at midnight will the lines close at midnight or before midnight? with a 3 hour wait i doubt they'll close the line right at midnight. can anyone help with this? thanks.
