I am a childcare provider, and one of my daycare children went on a whirlwind surprise trip this past weekend to see the mouse- so during today's lunchtime we were told all about her trip....( As a side not they stayed at the hojo, and another child, also 4, just returned from a recent trip to puerta vallerta with his mom and gramma....)

"At Disneyland you know what- on big thunder mountain railroad there is a goat on top, and flowers that sing in the tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki room, and i got wet when I wore my swim suit on grizzly mountain splash, and I did not like the drop on pirates cuz the skeletons were chasing the witch through snow whites forrest....."
"and at Disneyland you get water dumped on you from a giant bucket, and R2D2 crashes through Ice and we fought buzz light year on monsters inc-And Baby Odin will have to be 4 before he can go on Splash mountian
"And when the fireworks are on there is a guy who wants ot be a real boy, and I saw tinkerbell, but she did not fart.I did not smell any pixie dust." and then she says "Blair, tell me how did you like Mexico?" And I hear.... "HO-LY- SMOKES! MEX-ee-CO was SO AWWWESOME! you know what? I had hamburgers all the time, and I swam with out my floaties!" and there you have it...our tuesday lunch time discussion....

On another sidenote last week we had a major discussion about whether or not fairies pass gas, and if mermaids can pee...

too cute ! You will never regret the $ used to expose children to travel. Not too many things are life changing but expanding a child's world view through travel is one of them.

Oh gosh lol funny I need to teach my DGD2 that one about farting pixie dust! Her mom will love that!:woohoo:

So cute! I provide childcare too!

Hmmmmm.....the love of Disney AND children? A coincidence? I think not! :rotfl:

What an adorable story, thank you so much for sharing and for putting a huge smile on my face. :goodvibes

That was adorable!! Thanks for sharing!! Makes me want to pass it along to all the parents who want to wait until their child can "remember the trip"

This is adorable! I have a 4 year old myself. We are taking a trip to Hawaii in a few weeks, then I'm planning on taking her to Disneyland this summer. If I could be a fly on the wall at daycare......

To continue the Oregon theme, and moving down I-5, I'm in Roseburg.

I am originally from Roseburg! Most of my family lives there...my grandparents live out in Glide. I miss that area!
