Last time I was at Disneyland was in 1970! We were thinking about staying onsite at one of the three hotels. For getting into the parks, which hotel is the closest to the parks or easiest to get to and from the parks.

Thanks!:bounce:

The New Grand Californian Hotel is what they call "in" Disney's California Adventure Park. It is actually at the edge of the park and many of the rooms have spectacular views into the park. It has its own entrance into the new park as well. It took us a minute to a minute and a half to get from our room into the new park. Disneyland is just down the walkway a bit. You can use the entrance to Downtown Disney to get to Disneyland or if you have a park hopper pass it is as easy to go through California Adventure. It would probably take 4-5 minutes to get from your room to Disneyland.

The GC is the closest and is absolutely wonderful. The theme park view puts you right in the middle of the action. It is also a gorgeous hotel. The monorail runs through it but doesn't stop. This cuts down on a lot of extra traffic. The other two hotels, however, are very close. Both are across the street from the front entrance of the GC and right next to each other. The monorail station is right outside of the DLH, and I believe there is a seperate entrance to DCA from the PP hotel.
