Disneyland Hotel?

Have any of you stayed at Paradise Pier Hotel? I thought that if we walked through the GC to use the DCA entrance, and with the premium view, it might be as good a choice as the DLH. Are the rooms smaller? Is distance a problem?

You will not be able to enter through the Grand. They only let people enter through the front of the Grand who are staying there or who have a dining reservation. They do check names.

Did not know that! I had read that they let anyone staying at a Disney property, since the room keys aren;t specific. It always helps to get a second opinion

I don’t think PP guests can walk through the Grand California anymore.

They stopped this a while ago. Only guests staying at the Grand or who have reservations at one of their restaurants can go through the entrance off of Disneyland Drive. They do check reservations for your name.

They have begun using the gate. It is locked and needs a room key or employee ID to get thru. If you have a reservation, there is a call button so someone can buzz you thru.
