Disneyland Hotel Room Occupancy

I booked a package for just me at Disneyland Hotel this Fall. My childhood BFF, who is area local, may be able to join me for one night. I know two people is fine by occupancy limits, but my question is do I need to add her to the package for my whole stay or can she just crash with me if she is too tired to drive home?

Just add her name to the room when you check in. Then she can stay if she wants, no harm if she doesn’t. All rooms sleep at least 2 people.
