Disneyland Hotel Pool

Is it a fun time??? Will it be warm enough in Mid October to enjoy it?

The pools are awesome there. We had our first stay at the DLH a few months ago and hubby loved the slide and pool area. The jacuzzis were great also.

The pools are heated to a comfortable temperature and typically the weather is decent enough year round to enjoy it. I recommend making time for it

Pool hopping is not allowed unless your resort pool is down for some reason.
I know pool hopping is very frowned upon and feel this is a good thing so the guests of each resort aren't flooded by non registered guests.

My family loooooves the Disneyland Hotel pool. It is a fun time for sure. The water slides are a great plus.

One of my favorite DL memories was watching my then 64 year old father going down the water slides with the biggest grin on his face. He was so happy you would have thought he was a little kid on Christmas! I love the pool area, it is definitely fun for the young and old.

I guess I'm a pool grump. I didn't think the Disneyland Hotel pool was that great. It was absolutely better than a standard hotel pool, and my kids always love to make use of every pool they see. But, for me, I'd rather go to Great Wolf Lodge or another water park that has really fantastic pools on another trip and save my Disneyland time for the parks. But I also don't feel it's worth the extra money to stay "on-site" -- except for one: If I could afford the Grand Californian, I would definitely stay there. It looks fantastic.

We go to DL the week before Christmas every year. We always stay at the DLH and we make time every day for the DLH pool and waterslides. Warm enough in Oct. ? I would certainly hope so, cause we do it at Christmas and have a Great Time

When we stay at DLH my kids want to be at the pool more than they want to be in DL! It is really fun.
We recently moved to a town with its own waterpark that they went to almost daily this summer and I thought that would cure them of wanting to go back to DLH but they are still asking to go there again!

The only way to do this is to rent a cabana. We stayed at the GCH last month and rented a cabana for a day at the DLH. It was great. They also have half day rentals.
