Disneyland Hotel or Grand Californian

Which one do you think has easiest access to DL?
We have stayed at the DL hotel in the Sierra Tower and we just walked out the door to the Monorail and whoosh...we were in the park. No lines. Is it as convienent to go on the monorail from the GC?
I don't really care about DCA entry.

I guess I really didn't post my actual question...

which one would you stay at for ease of getting into the parks and avoiding those long early morning lines?

The Grand Californian is a much closer walk than the DLH. The monorail while convenient has been having some problems lately and they are often running only 1 train resulting in long ( 30 minute) waits at the monorail stations.
