Worth it is extremely subjective and based on what your plans are.
I know I spend most of my days in the parks, so I need a place that is clean, has a shower and a bed. I do not really care for decor or extra amenites. I do enjoy larger rooms, but they are not necessary. So, I usually go for the cheapest room available.
That said... I am going to stay here in January, for the cheapest price possible, but that's just because I want to have stayed at all hotels.
Most of the exclusive perks of the
Disneyland Hotel are gone / available to the general public.
The remaining exclusive perks are:
- Proximity to the parks
- Kids Club
- Private Princess Meet & Greets.
- La Table de Lumière (but as you said you have a picky eater in another thread, this might not be the restaurant for you)
The hotel is recently refurbished, rooms are large and luxurious. It has a pool, a spa, a gym, etc. You are also paying for this, whether you use it or not.
If you want some luxury and some space, but also want to save some money, go for the Marvel hotel.
