Disneyland Grand Californian - Early Morning Check in for Magic Hour

We have reservation at the Disneyland Grand Californian. Will it be possible to check in early, say 6:00am then store our luggages there (since the room will not be ready until 3:00pm) then visit the park to take advantage the magic hour that starts at 8:00am? Thanks!
