Disneyland (good neighbor hotel) Package questions

Hello,

I am thinking about booking a package for my winter break in February. I am used to booking for WDW and not used to booking off site hotels with a package. I have several hundred dollars on Disney gift cards and will get several more, which is why I'd like to book through Disney. Here are my questions:

1. Can I make payments with gift cards for a GNH package on the Disney website (or by phone if necessary)?

2. I am not sure if anyone would be coming with me, is it easy to add a person to the package and just pay the extra money for the park tickets after making the initial reservation/deposit?

3. Are the park tickets linked to each person? Do they send actual tickets in the mail or do you pick them up at will call? It says no name changes on the package terms and conditions but if I put someone on the reservation and they end up not being able to go could I potentially use the unused tickets myself at a later date before they expire in 2019?

I just booked GNH in May for our trip next month so I have some answers

1. I paid for mine in gift cards online so yes you can.

3.2. They mail them within 21 days of your trip.

A few years ago I booked a package, at the last minute we had another person join us.
They were not added to the package, it was too late.

However, it wasn't an issue. When we arrived at the hotel we added them to the room. For their ticket they went to the ticket booth and bought one.

It was easy..

HomeWood suites convention is my fave right now.

I can recommend best western park place inn, Camelot.

I'd like to try courtyard Marriott theme park entrance but haven't yet.

Hyatt house, Spring Hill suites and others are also new.
