So as many of you know, we took our first family Disneyland trip this October, with our two kids, ds5 and dd3. Last night as I tucked my 5 year old son into bed, he said "Mommy, I wished we could sleep at Disneyland every night, because at Disneyland they say Dreams Come True, and I really want all my dreams to come true" He continued to explain that dreams come true at Disneyland because it's magic and our house isn't magic like that, so his dreams can't come true at home. The tone of his voice showed how very concerned he is with this!

I thought you Disers with kids would relate! I would love to hear other stories from how kids view Disneyland.

Cute. I remember when I was about 18 my friend and I went to DL between Christmas and New Years. We were watching the Christmas parade and along came Santa on a float. The little boy about 5 years old next to us with his Dad got very excited and said, "There's the REAL Santa!". I thought that was so cute, that of course Disneyland would have the real true Santa. :lovestruc

Oh my! Now please give those tiny eye balls back to the child that is missing them, right this minute, come on, hurry up, no dawdling allowed, Mister! ....... :faint:....See now what has happened?........(Sigh)

How cute. What about telling him that Disney magic is in our hearts and we can achieve our dreams if we put our minds to it. Or that the Disney souveniers he got from Disneyland are a little piece of that magical place for him to keep and share the magic everday until the next trip (or you can leave the last part out) :). Just a few thoughts - sounds like he loved Disneyland.

i was at the christmas parade last year in WDW and an "elf" came up to me and was like "i love your hat! it looks like santas!" (its the one with the red and like white trim mickey ears..anyway....then these little kids were all googleing at my hat with amazment and one of them was like."you gots a magic hat! santa has a magic hat to!" i just thought it was cute and wanted to share
