Hello, all! I am planning a camping trip out west from Michigan and hope to hit Disneyland as part of our travels. We have been to Disney World several times, and usually plan it ourselves. I'm wondering if any veterans (particularly those who have visited both parks) can offer any trip planning advice. I'm wondering if we should stay at a nearby campground or book a hotel. We always stay on property in Florida, but we would need two rooms and that is very pricy. Also, I was thinking of going for just two days and wonder if that is enough. Any advice you can offer would be great!

I would definitely give the Disneyland boards a look. Also if you listen to the dis unplugged Orlando edition go and look at some of the past episodes of the Disneyland edition because they have been doing a lot of trip planning help for people. Especially new comers to the Disneyland area. I think that would be a great place to start.

You can find links to all of the DIS Unplugged: Disneyland Edition: Disneyland 101, Southern California 101 and Personalized Planning segments all in one place at the top of the Disneyland Planning page on The DIS.

We are also planning our first trip to DL. I posted on the Disneyland board, and was directed to this SUPER thread, that should have anything you want to know. I started at the beginning and am working my way through it, but it has a very helpful table of contents for specific questions.
