This is my Lego representation of the DisneyLand Fire Station.

This structure is "Lego Pure", from the grey base up.
Lego Pure means no Kragle, no altered pieces, and no evil clone brands.

I still need to build the tree in front.
I might add the Kitchen/Vanity area of the upstairs apartment.
I want to do a Lego Mural as a backdrop, that will give the view the typical visitor to DL would see.

The back of the real building is very ugly, and not worth building.
I am not going to add the patio to the top of the porch area, I think that is ugly.
I do plan to eventually connect the town hall, which will include the rest of the porch that connects the town hall and fire station.
But first I want to build the Train and Train station.

Very cool! :thumbsup2
I love the lamp in Walt's apartment window. :)

I love the lamp in Walt's apartment window. :)

Thank you.

Out of all the responses I have gotten, with this posted on two Lego sites, and two Disney sites, you are the first one that mentioned the lamp.

It really lights up, just like the one in the real apartment.
One reason the floor between the two stories is so thick, is to accommodate the wiring. Lego really needs to make some wiring pieces that do not have such bulky connection points.

But even in the real fire station, that floor must be thick.
If I compare the pictures of the inside of the building, to the outside of the building, I conclude that the floor is proportionally about the same thickness that I used. So it worked out well.

Thank you.

I think I will build the tree that is in front of the station this weekend, and then maybe next week start the mural to use behind the building.

The mural needs to have both the back wall of the fire station inside, and then the trees and such.

The actual ceiling in the upstairs apartment is lower in the center than I did it. It has a drop ceiling that actually drops lower than the top of the curtains.
But I didn't like it that way.
My favorite picture of the Fire Station is this one (and I really like it with the top of the drapes showing).

I have been doing some math, to see how much space I need for the train station, to keep with the scale, and then put it so it shows through my front window.

In width, I think my fire station is scaled at 5%. The Lego Fabuland door frame is also scaled at 5% (if I compare it to my front door, including the frame). But the height scale is less. The height of the figures is scaled closer to 3%, if I compare to a 6' human. But maybe they are short.

The train station will be just a bit to long for my front window, if I scale it 5%. But I am thinking I will do the center area scaled 5%, and then shorten the two ends (which combined take up 2/3 of the length of the full station).

The full castle width is actually less than the full train station width, but very close to the same if I measure between the two towers in the back courtyard.

The small world has more width, and more depth than the Castle has. If I don't use a smaller scale for this, it will not fit.

I got these measurements using Google Earth. I might be wrong (I am often wrong).
