Hi - With regard to Disneyland, I've got a family member with lung issues; they typically standing in line with us and make it just fine, but having do stairs (especially with a crowd of people waiting behind) can be daunting. Lines like Incredicoaster, Big Thunder, Jungle Cruise - all have a set of stairs to climb prior to boarding. Is there a way that someone with a legitimate disability (they have a disabled parking hang tag) can use the elevator? (or some other holding place for BTM, JC) They use an ECV to get around the park, but don't need them for the lines. And yes - they are totally fine to ride the rides.

That would be something they would talk to the CM at the entrance for. Doesn't need to be in detail about the reason, just to say they can't do stairs

Disneyland for BTMRR and JC - your family member would be accommodated by going through the exit queue (no stairs there, just a long ramp for BTMRR and a short ramp for JC). They can likely drive the ECV in.

It's been years since I've ridden Incredicoaster - back when it was CA Screamin' but I seem to recall the lack of stairs at the exit.

You can definitely get a return time for those rides. Just go up to the cast member and ask for a return time while on the ECV (although I have asked because I can only do so many stairs in a day). When you return, you can park it and walk into the exit of the ride avoiding the steps.

I am not sure at Incredicoaster as I am not a big fan, but I believe you can ask to ride the elevator up and then walk over and down the elevator at that ride. That is what I have seen at Indy.

At Toy Story and Radiator Springs Racers where there are stairs at the exit, just ask to board at the handicap boarding area so you can skip the stairs. I have done that a few times over the years.

Bringing the ECV in line indicates the assistance is needed, but you can always ask too.

For Jungle Cruise I stay with my family until we reach the foot of the stairs. I ask the CM who is usually near that spot if I can wait for my family and rejoin them when they come back down the stairs. The CMs are used to this request.

Yep, also if you can't handle the turnstile in the queue, let the CM know near the gate and they will provide instructions.

For incredicoaster, it will vary based on operational needs, simply tell them you can't do the stairs, sometimes you will load from the unload side, sometimes you will go up and over, but always make sure your party is all together whenever asking to bypass the stairs at all attractions, how it works will vary.
